This tutorial is Very Nice! I followed your caves Tutorial as well, and There's one thing I would like to point out in this particular one. the mid ground you made, and the assets you used, They actually feel a little bit out of scale partially due to the fact that you shrunk big canyons Down to ridges. They feel out of proportion. Is there any way you could avoid it? You are pretty much the only channel who has Unreal Engine 5 Tutorials that I can follow. Keep up the great work!

Great video but one note is that the Mando model is way way out of scale. Thos photoscans arew suppossed to be several meters tall, so tyour mando is a agiant haha

biggest complaint I had with this. Great tutorial though. a simple scaling of a few objects would have made it more realistic but I came here for the techniques and ue5 seems pretty simple compared to most programs like c4d or something got this type of shot

Hi, i got a question, first: Where did you rigged the model? So i do it like i download it and go to mixamo, but then the Armor gets like bended your animations looks so clean and not buggy with the armor and helm if you know what i mean xd Are there any settings i need to change??? I heard that people are saying that Mandelorian virtual sets were made with UE5, but looking at their original video in production they specificaly say that they build their own software and rendered out the shot. pinkpocketTV - the problem with madalorian animation are that it does not look realistic as it walks in air - can you fix it that every step are placed on static mesh ground please?

But last time when i was folllowing your footsteps, i found out that water elements from water plugin didnt show any reflections. As i learn ue5 doesnt sulport single layer water shading. "disable lumen"? might be a solution?

The alternative to lumen is to use real-time ray tracing for reflections, but it is not that optimised. UE5 is still in development so many important things like SSS and translucency is not supported. Also Nanite only supports opaque materials and that’s a big limitation at the moment.

Hey, I didn’t. The landscape was just used as a base floor. I added quixel ground meshes on it.

Israel is a great teacher and I recommend subscribing to his pinkpocketTV channel for free lessons in Unreal engine 5. I do however have a question for Israel. I prefer making films rather than games in unreal5. My question is, if I build an environment such as a landscape scene but want to bring in meta-humans later on that are rigged for movement and speech should I be working in game mode and choosing a blank level there when I build my environments or will rigged meta-humans and mannequins work in 1st and 3rd person mode within film/video levels? And which is easiest to work with in this regard, Games mode or Film
