Hey man this is an amazing course, thank you so much for the help! However, I have a problem: everything works perfectly with my ZIG SIM, when I use Protokol it works perfectly as well, but when I create the OSC Server, it wont print the strings/work the animation. I put the correct IP Adress + Port (that are exactly the same as yours I've also changed the Port to test) but nothing happens. I followed the tutorial like 3 times and I'm doing everything as you did, do you have any idea about what could be the problem? I'm using UE 5.0.3 too. The thing that is bothering me is that when I test it with Protokol, it works correctly.

nvm just found out what was happening......... Unreal Editor wasn't enabled at my Windows Firewall,,,, sorry lol anyways keep up the awesome work!

Trust me, been there myself. You honestly have to love how annoying Unreal is, because most people give up early out of frustration, but the ones who persevere and push forward, we get to enjoy the success.

Hi! Thanks for the course. Can you help me wt a problem? I follow the instructions for build the first part of the BP_OSC pluerprint, I checked it a lot of times, but when I play it the messages not appear in the monitor. At same, i have the ZigSim active and connected. I'm use UE 5.2.1

Hey. First of all, since it seems you are not a programmer, you are asking me a question with very limited information. There can be all kinds of reasons why it doesn’t work. You’re almost telling me the car is making a loud noise, like it can be the engine, the gearbox, the tires, even the bodywork. How would I know, it might be the phone, the PC, the wifi, the firewall, blueprint code. All I can say is people when they don’t allow UE Editor through the firewall in windows it doesn’t receive messages. Your String Switch case or Split condition can be wrong as well.

i also didnt kno why mine wasn't working, as I followed all correct, I kept getting an error in the OSC blueprint but it was my mistake some connections weren't don't correctly. So if yo ugo back and watch again and correctly connect all nodes it will work. oh yea one more thing, my phone closed, so make sure ZIG SIM is open on your phone, and click start on the app...then once your UE5 MAP 1 is playing you will hopefully see the print screen messages. Like I am finally happy new year!!!

When that happens it’s usually the firewall mostly. In Windows you can set allow an app through firewall. On Mac I think you’d need to go to your Settings > Network and I guess you can add Protokol and UnrealEditor as an exception in the Firewall tab. That’s all I can guess, since I’ve never used Unreal on Mac.
