Hmmm... I have a walk backwards animation in the blendspace at the bottom but my character does not walk backwards. The character turns completely around still. I don't want it to turn and wlk, but to walk backwards as it does in the blendspace.

I ended up having to add more to BP_ThirdPersonCharacter so that when the sword is equipped "Orient Rotation to Movement" is et to false and "Use Controller Desired Rotation" to true. And then back to default when the sword is unequipped. Did I miss this somewhere in your tuts?
