In Durham, in the 1980's. A beautiful young lady was gunned down after school in her schools parking lot by a fellow student for the apparent crime of refusing to date him. Many of y'all locals will know of whom I speak. God rest her soul. Atleast he's still locked away & if there's any justice at all, he will remain so. Then there was an accidental shooting between 2 best friends that I went to jr high with. They had found one of their dads guns and were handling it after school one day in the home and it accidentally went off. The result was one dead 15yr old boy and his friend who'd been holding it who physically lived, life was ruined as he never got over it. When I was 21yrs old I was working in a retail shop inside of Northgate mall when a 14 or 15yr old boy was shot by some other kids at the food court one afternoon. Luckily the bullet went right through his shoulder and exited so he was physically was okay afterward. Although I can"t imagine the trauma he suffered from this. These incidents have only increased and not only in N.C. Something needs to be done as ALL children deserve to be safe. Praying for the Dockery family and all families who've lost loved one's to this epidemic. 🙏🙏🙏

The problem isn’t with the guns, is with those who use them with malice. Focus on what’s going on with the people.

I am from New Zealand which no-one Carrie’s guns around. Why do they let their their children and teenagers access to guns. They are unable to think about consequences. Guns are not needed to protect everyone I just don’t understand it. They are banned here

All three of them should be charged grandpa also needs his gun rights taken . And the boy and mom need jail time. People get locked up for less everyday but this is a Lil girls life robbed from her bc a parent didn't parent properly and boy who had a fascination with guns. This whole story screams red flags. I hope they get justice. No one deserves this.
