I went on my first date in 6th grade. The boy's name was Raymond. He picked this movie, lol. His aunt dropped us off. I remember his hands were super sweaty. But I didn't care, I thought he was the cutest boy in the whole world then. That evening, I got my first kiss. He gave me a ring, it was made of plastic with a pink heart on top. (a super cheapie, but hey, we were just kids, 😆) I was walking on cloud nine when I got home that evening. ❤️ A month later on a field trip, he broke up with me, and asked a girl named Candy out! Hahaha! The Chronicles of Junior High school! Anyways..... these cult classic movies of the 70s, 80s, and early 90s were the absolute BEST!

I remember arguing among friends between choosing which movie to go see... Ghostbusters II or Spaced Invaders while playing with my proton pack sound effect keychain from Hardees 😂

I used to see this trailer a lot as a kid because it was on the All Dogs Go To Heaven VHS. Finally watching the movie now.

2023, this movie still gets to me. I was 9 years old when this gem came out. Annoyed everyone because I would mimick Blaznee in elementary, got sent to the principal's office when I quoted "ain't life a bitch". Great memories of my childhood.

DISCLAIMER: ALL trailers from the 90's were terrible. The 90's were fantastic times, but for some reason, everyone assigned to make a trailer of a movie during this decade was told to turn the movie into the _exact same_ movie. And the movie they were told to turn it into wasn't even a real movie anyone had made, it was just an idea of a movie should be. Anyways, completely disregard the tomatoes rating of 8%, this film is great. It's not even great in a campy sort of way, its actually well-made in many aspects. I have no idea why critics were so harsh to it.

there's a lot of good/great trailers from the 90s. Dolores Claiborne, Stephen King's Graveyard Shift, Tales From the Darkside - The Movie, True Lies, Jacob's Ladder, Misery, Raising Cain, In the Mouth of Madness, Silence of the Lambs, A Simple Plan. Tombstone, Narrow Margin , just to name a few

Loved this movie as a kid, watched it on VHS all the time. I'll have to watch it again sometime. BTW this trailer gave away the ending xD

I find it really hard to believe they had an idea and then thought of a title for it. This totally looks like a dude smoking pot thought "spaced invaders" was super funny and then developed an idea for the movie around it.
