There were no signs of trouble in the kitchen, nothing out of the place in the living room. But then investigators found Renee Pagel in her bedroom. More: bit.ly/2GRVP7r

I completely agree. She had just given a kidney to someone she didn't really even know, and her "friend" couldn't stay over at her house that night because she had something to do the next day? Couldn't she have left from there to do whatever it was she had to do? Even if it meant getting up earlier than the sun, I would have stayed with her or asked her to come to my place. I wonder if she asked anyone else to come over and stay with her and they also said "no." Side thought: I wouldn't have even had to ask - my mom would have insisted on staying with me, because she wouldn't have left me alone for a second if I had just gotten out of the hospital after major surgery that left me with one less vital organ.

He's an asshole but I'm quite curious to see some kind of interrogation in the future of him.

renaissance Because you don’t always know someone is a narcissist right away. Obviously she knew something was wrong with him because she was divorcing his ass. Narcissists are typically very good at being charming and getting people to like them, or at the very least not raising any red flags.

In October 2020, Michael Pagel was sentenced to 25 to 50 years in prison. Apparently his brother (who disliked Renee) came forward with the information saying "Michael was “losing it” and he was afraid of becoming Michael’s next victim. - In 2011, he and Michael had been sitting together in a car, having drinks and looking out at a river when all of the sudden, Michael took out a bag. Inside the bag was a knife wrapped in cloth. He told his brother, “This is how I finalized my divorce.” The brother directed police to the part of the river where knife was thrown, after three days of searching police were able to recover the murder weapon.

5:05 I don't understand how she can say what she did, with no remorse. When I was 12, Friday leaving school my friend asked to come over- I told her my mom wouldn't let her. She died that night in a freak accident. I've never gotten over the guilt. All these years later, I've helped several friends, by taking them in when they didn't feel safe, bc I survived something similar. I made sure my kids were sleeping for the night, my in need of help friend was asleep, made sure my house was secure, then I stayed up all night watching tv & my security cameras, so I could immediately get help if a psycho approached. Had my neighbors on all sides watching our house & on standby. There are ways to help, without it being a serious risk to your life & children's safety. It cost me a sleepless night each time, but gave me the peace of mind, knowing I helped when needed. I don't understand how this lady says with no remorse that her friend begged to stay the night with her, but she was busy the next day, so no- now seems to show no guilt?

And if that isn't bad enough, why did everyone else that was questioned by the police, jumping through hoops to do all they could to help. Yet her ex is allowed to hide behind a lawyer? If I was his kids, I would be asking why he wasn't doing everything he could to help find there mums killer.
