I think Thailand is much better than the Philippines. Many things are better. Food Transport Accommodation. Entertainment. Thailand is about 30 percent cheaper. Hotels and condos much better and cheaper. Thai people very warm and friendly. All tourist areas speak fairly good English.

Filipinos I believe are intuitive. They know the young guys are just looking to have a good time. The older guys were born in a different age. We were taught to respect and honor women to protect and provide.

I’m not sure I believe her view on age-gap in Thailand. I mean who am I to say, but I’ve watched a lot of vloggers and more than 10 (maybe 20 is single mom) years is a turn off. I’ll find out soon 🎉 Bangkok first then Makati for vacations and decide after this adventure.

I'd say the majority of Thai women over 30 prefer a guy 10-20 years above their age. I get the impression that younger women don't aim for that large a gap any more.

A professional girl who works for a foreign company in BKK, in a technical sales position, tri-lingual Thai, Mandarin and English will not even consider same-age farang unless she wants to marry and migrate overseas. A good Thai guy is better than any old farang.

This is UTTER BS! Let's be real: Most Thai families strongly prefer local marriages for their daughters. Claims to the contrary are misleading. While some women may choose foreign partners against family wishes, this is the exception, not the rule. Respectable Thai women typically seek partners their families and communities would highly approve of - often successful, presentable professionals. "My daughter married a doctor..." The main exceptions are usually scammers with tattoos and entertainment experience or single mothers seeking stability for their children. That last group is particularly disregarded and marginalised by Thai men - in many cases, unfairly. Tread carefully in Thailand and keep your eyes peeled, for yellow and red flags.

If you listened to her, she said a small percentage of Thai women prefer farang men. She never said a majority.
