One of the dumbest deaths in an A tier movie I can recall. How could Vito possibly conceive that, of all people, his most loyal member could make people believe he wanted to defect. He was a big lug with no “acting” skills yet he was sent into the lion’s den with nothing more than “uh, I don’t like Don Vito anymore, can I join youse guys?” The whole idea was ridiculous.
