But not everyone gets a seat in IITs and IITians themselves leave India in large numbers, Sundar Pichai is an IITian he himself even he left india German universities are ranked as top universities in the world IITs dont even it to top 100. India is developing but at the same time immigration is also at a all time high more and more people are leaving india. If our country was so good immigration wouldve gone down but just the opposite is happening. And life is hard everywhere dude life in India is not easy at all. Hypocritical of you to say that India is great but at the same even you left it for a better life 😂

My emphasis is on doing masters to get job is overly used in Indian community in wrong way which doesn't work for all people witnessing from eyes here.

I don't know what triggered me to write this comment, but the amount of smart people you find in IIT is unmatchable. It's not the university building or the swimming pool, but your batchmates & their mindset, which makes IITs worth it. Also, many a times it's the only option (+ lack of awareness). I couldn't have spent exorbitant money on SAT, and applied to these foreign universities showing my essay skills & non-existent sports. IIT was a dreamable dream. :) If you're into academic research, then sure you may get better facilities in these foreign universities. But I would argue % of smart of ppl in these universities abroad is mediocre at best (except in few top universities). I know a lot of people who're currently studying in these German universities, doing useless courses, and they're dumb AF. Not even trying to work on themselves. And in IITs, I've seen exceptionally talented people.. (Also, got to know that I'm not the one.) (Btw, fees wise, German universities are cheaper than IITs. lol.. Don't counter me on the mental baggage, & living costs though.)
