Looking forward to your reviews. I asked one thing, please compare as many ofname products that you have experience with when reviewing a given product. This gives us a point of reference, based on products that we have owned.

@felicianogodoy2627, Done! I do have a few different components for each type of component. And if there are any special requests, let me know. --Cynthia, The Audio Belle

Interested to hear your reviews and yes, please tell us when you're being compensated. Imo too many reviewers are being compensated in some form and not disclosing so. Comparisons to known products are also very useful. to the point where I feel that reviews without comparisons are really just advertisements.

@brown-eyedman4040, Absolutely will be doing comparisons. I have a few of each type of component in hand to compare with (multiple preamps for example). I do think it will be challenging for components I have to send back or give away, because then I’ll be going off of my memory of said product. But that’s another story haha. --Cynthia, The Audio Belle

With regards to what you said in the end, about not wanting to describe the sound too much, I feel though that's rather unavoidable. You'd have to say whether it sounds good or not, and that's where the subjectivity does come in.. For viewers, it's up to us to discover the correlation between what you like and our preferences. To this end, it's probably more useful to us say to figure out whether we prefer/ dislike the gear that you find to be 'warm'. As opposed to the more vague correlation of "i like the gear she likes" For the reviewer otoh, i think it's about maintaining consistency in these descriptions, pretty sure it's not such an easy task as it may seem. Good luck anyway, for all your future reviews🙂

@entity279, Right. I’ll be describing the sound somewhat. I just don’t plan to overdo that. I feel like to some degree that it would be like trying to describe the way something looks to someone that cannot see. But you are right, it isn’t completely avoidable. My point is that my intention will not be to overuse audiophile vocabulary words to try to describe the way something sounds. My plan is to give the facts about products, compare with other products, and then give a thumbs up or thumbs down on the product. I think a thumbs up or thumbs down is as objective as a subjective opinion can be, because it doesn’t leave any room for neutrality (either it was impressive enough to get a thumbs up or just didn’t quite fit the bill). And then you also have to take into account whether the reviewer likes the same type of music as you, and whether what they are talking about accentuates sound in that particular music that you value. Perhaps deciding whether to make that reviewer’s opinions an objective baseline to what you’re looking for, if his opinions match yours for the most part. And then there’s having to take into account all the flaws or differences in opinion that allow you to get even more of a baseline of what to expect going in. Sorry, I didn’t mean to get too deep haha. Let me know your thoughts on the above. My first review will be a little rough, but this is brainstorming that I would expect from the comments and really appreciate. --Cynthia, The Audio Belle

I appreciate this vid' thank you. I would only differ with you slightly, that there are two sorts of reviewers; salesmen or actual reviewers' ✌😎👍 Is better gear sent/given to reviewers I wonder.

Fred, I think that’s an accurate way of stating that as well! Though I do imagine there can be those that are “salesmen” of their channel rather than the product, and only do positive reviews to continue getting product to review….to increase the number of videos on their channel. Not saying I know anyone who does that, just speculating on all possibilities. --Cynthia, The Audio Belle

If you give the "thumbs down" to a piece of equipment, you should then take a giant axe and smash it to bits right in front of us. Just sayin'.
