I'm sorry, that really sucks :/ It's a neat country (only been there once, but it was fun!), I hope it stays that way for you! Unfortunately, I've heard a lot of stories of toxic, predatory men moving to Eastern Europe because they know 2 things: 1. they know that the police don't as frequently go after SA type crimes. 2. the other reason they go there is because they think (or know, according to them) that Eastern European women are more willing to put up with a terrible abusive partner.
