thanks for sharing. not too many videos of people sharing their story of eczema and rinvoq. I've just been cleared to start treatment with Rinvoq for my eczema & prurigo nodularis. Hopefully I will be on it soon. Would love an update on your journey. hoping it works out for you.

Hey there - sorry for my super late reply. Ive been on Rinvoq for like 2 months now and it is MILES better for me than Dupixent. I have even completely stopped moisturising - which is crazy for me. Ill do an updated video soon.

Sorry Ive not been active. I will be from now. So I had the eye issue and it was horrible. However, you can get Ciclosporin eye drops prescribed. They're not nice and will feel uncomfortable when applying but thats short lived and ultimately do help.

@@EczemaWarrior its been life changing. Had my first dose in late September and after only the first pill my itching subsided. I didn't need to use any more steroid cream for a long time. I still moisturize when I get out of the shower though. I've been on it for about 8 months now and I do notice a tiny bit loss of efficacy - sometimes I will get some eczema around my neck and chest area and will have to apply a small amount of steroid cream but my eczema is nowhere near as bad as before I started. I used to scratch until I bled and would get it all over my bed sheets. I do want to note however I have experienced some side effects such as mild acne, increased appetite and some weight gain and a little bit of low energy. This also helped my alopecia and I now have a full head of hair again so overall its been pretty awesome!

I know this channel hasn't been updated in quite a while but was wondering how that Rinvoq worked out for you. As someone with bad eczema himself, would love to hear your experience on this drug.

Hey Roger, Rinvoq was a Godsend. It worked wonders for around 6 months then started to be less and less effective. Then I got an infection and was advised to come off completely. I am now on Tralokinumab - similar to Dupilumab - a biologics. Its not bad, took a while to see the effects. So far, Rinvoq has, by far, been the most effective eczema medication.

My eyes red and burning on dupixent. It's terrible. It's getting worse every year I am on dupixent. Did your eyes get better when you switched to ringvoc?

Yes my eyes got much better on Rinvoq but I had other side effects. Ill be putting up another video tomorrow (hopefully). For the eyes, as I said above, get Ciclosporin eye drops prescribed. They help!
