Update on Pixie's spay complications and big thank yous

OCT 25, 2022: Fifi gave birth to four beautiful kittens today! Three tiny girls, and one tiny boy. All four have perfect palates and appear to be healthy. Mama did great, and we are thrilled this is the last time she will ever have to go through pregnancy and labor.

OCT 18, 2022: We have a new catermelon and are officially on #KittenWatch!! Rescue kitty Fifi had a family who loved her very much. When they had to move out of the country, they gave her to a friend, who then had to move and wasn't able to find pet-friendly housing. This is a HUGE problem in our area. They didn't know she was pregnant when they got her, but wanted to make sure she ended up somewhere safe when they weren't able to keep her.
We are expecting 4 (or possibly 5) kittens to arrive in a week or so, although it could really happen at any time! Fifi is delightfully sweet, around a year old, and this is not her first litter of kittens. Thankfully, it will be her last. She and her kittens will all be spayed/neutered and adopted into loving homes.

Candy's story is all too familiar. She was feral and pregnant when she was trapped from a ravine. She's one of the luck ones, because she will have all the medical care, comfort and love she needs. JUL 23 2022: Feral catermelon Candy is going to give birth any time now, assisted by her doula / alleged babydaddy, Cookie. Cookie has already been neutered, and mama and kittens will all be spayed/neutered. We show the "miracle of birth" live to help people understand why it's so important to spay and neuter.

Shelly hot shower and a big glass of wine. Really bad day girl. Almost lost one of mine on December 23 we had no idea what was wrong with the 1 year old x feral. We were 2 hours away from euthanasia when I suddenly remembered a video of you going out to get Hyatt. Well that video saved our Buster. 3 Vets had no idea what was wrong and they wanted 5000.00 dollars to do a MRI which we could not afford. Well he was treated for Toxoplasmosis and is fine. Continued POTP for sweet Pixie. You keep on being feisty little girl although don't growl at the staff too much as they are only trying to help. Am hoping you keep making good positive progress. Huge thank-you to the staff at Mt. View Clinic for all their efforts including transferring Pixie to the E-Vet. my experience with Emergency vets - they usually call you in the morning after their morning rounds. So later in the morning. POTP for the little one. Pixie wants to go on adventures. She has always been very jealous of Nugget. So lets hope she gets to live a nice life full of new adventures with Stinkerbelle soon.

This is very similar to what happened to me on Dec 2. I stopped breathing for a few min and it was because my throat had swollen up 70% and I needed emergency surgery to correct it. very scary. I almost had to have a trach too but the surgery was able to open up my throat enough. Poor little kitty. I am glad she is under sedation through this instead of having to go through it and hope she makes 100% recovery quickly
