Hey so my keyboard stopped working as well last year I bout it Christmas 2019 as well. I banged on the keyboard. I tired everything. Wouldn't work. I was almost going to throw my detachable keyboard away but I'm glad I didn't because magically two months ago my keyboard began to work again. So I had had the detachable keyboard for a year and it didn't work for a year but all of a sudden two months ago in 2021 it began to work again. I don't know how but it did. Well today my keyboard stopped working again today being 2021. So I don't know exactly why it stopped working but here's what I did that led to it stopped working again. I was playing The Walking Dead Road to survival application and right after I was done with that game I decided that I wanted to write cuz I write in my spare time on the keyboard. But when I go to write my keyboard doesn't work again. But all for two months my keyboard was working. But as well I was not playing The Walking Dead Road to survival application from the Google play store it's a video game I haven't been playing that game either for two months but all of a sudden when I start playing that game again my keyboard doesn't work anymore again. So here's what I think happened I think that that video game I was playing one uses up too much memory. Then I think the video game uses too much data on the screen meaning you can't have more than one app if you're playing that video game and if you have it downloaded. That video game also makes this tablet very hot like hot to the touch. Secondly I had sat the tablet on top of the keyboard while I was playing the game. So it appears from what other people have said that this keyboard for the on tablet is very cheap and it heats up easily and melts easily. So I think the first time when it stopped working maybe I overheated the keyboard and it just didn't want to work cuz I tried making it work after a few days and it still didn't want to work. But this time I think since this is the second time that it stopped working I don't know if it is ever going to work @ all again. My advice to anybody that is having trouble with this keyboard registering is this; do not throw your detachable keyboards away. I am so glad I didn't throw my detachable keyboard away because I found out a whole year later that it actually still worked. You're detachable keyboard probably isn't working because the tablet itself either has too much apps taking up memory which is causing the tablet to run a lot slower than normal. Or if you don't have too many apps you're using your tablet too much and you're overheating the tablet. I was still in the setup steps and hadn't downloaded any app. I can't find any information on how to bring it back to life. Glad yours is working again.

Then I think the video game uses too much data on the screen meaning you can't have more than one app if you're playing that video game and if you have it downloaded. That video game also makes this tablet very hot like hot to the touch. Secondly I had sat the tablet on top of the keyboard while I was playing the game. So it appears from what other people have said that this keyboard for the on tablet is very cheap and it heats up easily and melts easily. Don't try to update whatever you do because I did and it completely destroyed my tablet. What it did was invert and upside down my text icons everything and no matter what I do I can't get it to revert back and I've noticed several other people on that 8in tablet has got the same problem might be on the 10 also if I had it to do all over again I would just press cancel it was working great until I got that update to go through oh well at least it was just a $70 tablet because right now it's junk.

This is also a Wal-Mart brand tablet i understand and you also cannot update the Wal-Mart app and cannot uninstall and reinstall it. @@judebreen7157 one of these days that Wireless update will go through and if you can catch it press cancel and hopefully it will cancel it because that's what messed up my tablet. That bug whether it's intentionally planted or not I don't know but that bug is on the 10in tablet also and it's on those Pro Models if it didn't have that problem they work fairly decent for the price but as for me on a budget tablet just get you a Samsung Tab a they work good.

the screen of the tablet is 25% less sensible than other more expensive models, the quality is lower as well because it scratches more easily than more expensive brands, i say this because i have an old samsumg tablet that i carry arround my back pack with no case or protector or anything and in 4 years of use it hasnt scratched as much as this tablet has in 3 months by using the case at all times, so i dont know if the keys are scratching it or something but it can get anoying. i havent seen any issues with my keyboard yet after a year of use so i guess i got lucky with mine. but it drains the batery in like 3 hours of use.

Easy. Power off device. Power on while holding volume up and then you should see recovery, fastboot and normal. Press volume down to select recovery. Then got to wipe all data and press power to select. When all down press the top most selection and you should arrive back at the first screen. Now click normal. Don't this is if you want to not save anything. Go to settings then search back up and you should see the option to wipe

So here's what I think happened I think that that video game I was playing one uses up too much memory. Then I think the video game uses too much data on the screen meaning you can't have more than one app if you're playing that video game and if you have it downloaded. That video game also makes this tablet very hot like hot to the touch. Secondly I had sat the tablet on top of the keyboard while I was playing the game. So it appears from what other people have said that this keyboard for the on tablet is very cheap and it heats up easily and melts easily. So I think the first time when it stopped working maybe I overheated the keyboard and it just didn't want to work cuz I tried making it work after a few days and it still didn't want to work. But this time I think since this is the second time that it stopped working I don't know if it is ever going to work @ all again. My advice to anybody that is having trouble with this keyboard registering is this; do not throw your detachable keyboards away. I am so glad I didn't throw my detachable keyboard away because I found out a whole year later that it actually still worked. You're detachable keyboard probably isn't working because the tablet itself either has too much apps taking up memory which is causing the tablet to run a lot slower than normal.
