Tuesday morning I kept thinking about you all and wondering if Baby Maci was born yet....I just couldn't stop thinking about you guys. Went online and first thing I got to see was Wonderful Amazing Incredible Praise the Lord Hallelujah news that baby Maci is here and was just born a little bit earlier. Mom dad and baby are all well. We moved and did an addition to the new house at the same time. What we did, which is great if you can afford it, is kept our rental until the renovation was mostly complete, that way we could move stuff a little at a time.

We moved into our house a year ago with a 9 month old, gutted the entire house, the whole province went into lockdown a few days later so we lived in shambles for months and then I got pregnant with twins (I also have awful pregnancies)...but here we are a year later with a 21 month old, 3 week old twins and our house is 90% done

Moving is so hard! We moved from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Western Pennsylvania 13 years ago. We moved because of a job my husband took. We packed up with 9 kids and 28 years of marriage. We had so much to move!

Just some hints. Give away or sell things you don't need. When it's close enough to move date, prep and label boxes ahead of time. Have Michaela or have someone else come over to watch the kids & do the food. While you and John and maybe another family member or 2 can do some serious packing. Just leaving what you absolutely need until the last minute. In the meantime save up any packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, boxes etc. you need. Make a lot of lists. Especially for transferring utilities etc. A friend of mine got everything packed up and on the night before spent the night at a hotel. Her kids loved it and she got to go direct traffic while her sister watched the kids. They got the beds set up, sofa in the living room, table set up in the kitchen then brought the kids in with their suitcases and a small box of their things to "help" with the move. Just make sure you keep it Covid safe! Saw a picture of Maci too cute!! Congrats!!

My advise is, if you can afford a move in ready home do it. DIYing when youre not experienced is a head ache from start to finish, extremely expensive and it takes forever to finish a project.

Some constructive criticism for Alyssa. This Q and A was to be for John. But starting with the very first question for him, you didn't even let him answer about his family business! He even said," This is supposed to be me answering.". You said," I know but ...." You kept answering the other questions too. Could he not answer to your satisfaction or approval???
