All members with the exception of Jimin were together training for 2 yrs. Then Jimin was found and trained with them for 6-8months orior to debuting 6/13/2013

Jimin is unique & rare Its not enough to describe how incredible and multitalented this kid. At very young age he has different kind of martial arts and dance and so on with his unique voice. He is very lucky. Jin once said that whenever he's tired he always look at Jimin and he will get up and practice again.

The years BTS members joined BigHit as follows: RM - 2010 (15 years of age); SUGA - 2010 (17 years of age); J-Hope - 2010 (16 years of age); Jin - 2011 (18 years of age); Jungkook - 2011 (13 years of age); [Jin and Jungkook signed contracts on almost the same day. V - 2011 (15 years of age); Jimin - 2012 (16 years of age) DEBUT date as group 06/13/2013

In kpop they train 20 to 40 people at a time for 6 months up to 6 years and sometimes they dont even debut into a group. Bts were finally 7 after two years of looking for the right people and training/living together. So the group was finalized in 2012 but they started searching for members in 2010 by holding auditions and rap competitions (which is how suga made it) and they also just pick people off the street like they did with jin. They trained for 2-3 years and debuted in 2013. They gained fans with their beautiful personalities and by outperforming everyone with their crazy choreos and vocals, they also showed their everyday life and connected with fans on a deeper level that was not common in the industry. They produced, wrote, and composed their music since pre debut. They are unique and that is what people love about them. They have an insane story. They worked their asses off and reached global success organically. They were amazing ever since the beginning of their career. 😊

Jin was picked off the street by a manager of BIGHIT because he was so hsndsome. Jin just started college as a acting major. He had no singing or dancing skills. He literally learned it from scratch, he worked extremely hard to be where he's at including college. I believe they now all have their masters degrees too. Amazing men💜🙆‍♀️

I’m a 54 year old punk rocker who started listening to punk in 1981. The only music I love as much as punk is BTS. I was introduced to BTS by my daughter in 2019. She is a teenager and they change preferences a lot but I am Army for life. Just like punk rock they don’t limit themselves to one genre. They are incredibly well rounded, intelligent, talented men and they truly inspire people to be themselves. I love the message they share with the world, especially our youth. I did a little research on why Taehyung was ‘hidden’ until debut: Their CEO, Bang Si Hyuk, simply liked the ‘drama’ of having a hidden member who would be revealed only at debut. He just chose Taehyung to be that hidden member. Some fans erroneously say it was because of his baritone vocals - that Bang didn’t want him to be ‘stolen away’ by another agency but that’s just not the case - he was already under contract so another agency would not have legally been able to ‘steal’ him.

The live stream clip of J-Hope, Jimin and Jin eating in the Hotel room is HILARIOUS ! They were on tour and Jimin did not want to eat and do a live stream alone so he hijacked Jin’s room service dinner. When Jin got done washing up he asked the manager what happened to his food and they sent him to Jimin’s room. 😂😂 Hobi (J-Hope) just stopped by for fun.

Currently BTS has around 900 awards and counting. Today all members speak English and Japanese. Jin spends his life eating to help Armys with eating disorders. Please also watch the explanatory video about the difficulties that BTS faced in the Korean and global I miss my boys🇧🇷💜

They are all learning English but are not fluent like rm yet. I remember on the suchwita episode yoongi asked jk if he could hold a convo in english with no problem, and he said no. They have gotten much better in the past year, tho! :)

Not really. The 3 rappers was trainees since 2010, and part of the first line up of BP. The vocalists joined in 2011 through the second BigHit audition, to formed the définitive "BTS" and Jimin joined in 2012, he only trained for 6 months before getting his position in the group in january 2013. And they all together débuted in June 2013.

Yes, Jungkook is the youngest in the group. They all were picked at different times abd different years....Yes Bang PD was going to at first go with a hip hop group, but the other guys left after a few months. It was too hard. Any other questions??? Im sure there will be plenty of Armys around once they see your doing the guide...😊 just ask and someone can answer!! Jk became a trainee at Big Hit at 13 years old. He was 15 when BTS debuted. He is the youngest, and that was clearly stated on the video just like Jin is the oldest.

BTS goes beyond Kpop with its diversity...it is a globally recognized cultural phenomenon and ARMYs continue to transmit their message despite the "pause"...You became ARMY simply by giving them the opportunity to be listened to. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Like a lot of older BTS fans, I discovered them during the pandemic, and I latched on to their funny, affable personalities even BEFORE I really listened to their music. I am a musician myself, sang in countless bands throughout the 80s and 90s and even a few years ago. I have never felt as connected to a group of artists as I do to BTS. I am a huge fan of Beatles and Bowie, but right now I am all about BTS. I guess you could call it my three B's. Thank you so much for your reaction! I spent most of my life in 2 long relationships with musicians. Yoongi is truly a musical genius. Every one who has ever worked with him, that I’ve seen at least, have said the exact same thing. The minute I see anybody is going to react to this I get very excited. There are lots of guides more informative about their massive discography, but, this is the best and only guide that shows you why they made it. Their culture of excellence, growth, hardwork, and mutual support and respect. How they used humour goofyness and downright silliness to cope with the punishingly hard schedules that only allowed them 2 breaks in 11 years. They published award winning music in 3 languages had multiple death threats industry sabotage and organised hate campaigns etc. They lived together for 8 years their close bonds keeping them together in an industry known to have frequent suicides. Their love for each other that nurtured their individual goals and developement is why BTS never need to split up. They have always encouraged each others individual developement. V was even allowed to act in a popular Netflix series HWARANG. However there are 2 docs that go into more detail about the proffessional side. BORACITY WHY THE INDUSTRY IS TERRIFIED OF BTS. Glad you guys dove deeper to learn more about the boys! Yes you are correct, you find BTS when you need them in your life! They have saved me and still help me go through such sadness when I lost my husband abruptly in 2019. My personal take on their roles/personalities of them: RM-Leader, responsible, broad spectrum; Suga-the caring grandpa and musical genius; Jhope-the caring"mother"- he can be so strict when in dance teacher mode: meticulous and extreme attention to detail (that's why they are always perfect in performing) and very caring making sure everyone doesn't hurt themselves or get sick, RM's right hand; Jin - the big brother that keeps everyone in check and well fed; Jungkook/Jk- another genius (vocal) and master of all trades; V/Tae- although the 2nd youngest in the group, he does seem like the youngest, they give-in to his whims and mischief, music genius as well (composing and voice) and love his dry humor; Jimin- the eldest of the younger ones (maknae line-Jk and V) keeps them in check and cares for them and dance genius. When Big Hit Entertainment decided to form a new group it was originally as a rap/hip hop group however over the months as they were gathering rap artists together for the original group things were not panning out and as a company they met together to discuss pros and cons about the direction they were going. What was decided was to form an “Idol “ group which would include members who are singers and all of them had to learn to dance and living a very arduous and strict lifestyle. Some of the potential members left because the rules were too strict and lack of free time and I’m sure there were other reasons for leaving as well. So Big Hit started looking at a wider search for others members and that’s where the vocal line comes in. Just an fyi, up until early 2023, Korean age did not follow the international age system. In Korea one’s birth counted as 1 year old and then the following new year counted as 2 years old. So when you see clip of members talking about their age you have to deduct 1-2 years. I know very confusing so the Korean government finally decided to go to the international age system. Jungkook was 13 years old when he joined BTS as a trainee and 15 years old when they debuted in 2013. I believe V was hidden as a surprise element to the group. As they were doing vlives on KZbin he was there in a corner and never shown until just before their debut.

You guys know, Korean age is different....so the guys were about 1 to 2 yrs younger than they say at the time they went into training. RM was 15, suga 16, Jungkook was 13...so on....So yeah, i think it was really exceptional what they were doing at so young an age.....RM was leading while he was also a child.😮 Hats off to them all 🫰💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

There is a new video for BTS made by purple snow. There seem to be some minor corrections to be made but it brings you 2024. It is little over an hour but good to watch. Rice squad is also terrific. A different take on BTS. Goes more into their discography.

This video is excellent, but much of the data is out of date, often the records have been broken by themselves, again and again, also apparently the awards count has now exceded one thousand. Band Si Hyuk was planning to make a hip hop group, you are correct, but then changed his mind to have an idol group. RM and Sugar were not happy at being told they would have to learn dancing. They were filmed all the time. They went on holiday, rented a home by a lake In The Soop, soop means forest. Also their variety show called Run BTS, and trips abroad, Idol Games where their competetive spirit shows through, also dance practices etc. I just loved In the Soop, and varios episodes of their variety show. I guess it all helped them get known, but also to be completely comfortable in front of the cameras. You missed that JK was on that other audition show and didnt get throgh probably because of his nerves, and was then invited by 7 companies and accepted Bighit. Counting age was a different system in Korea, you are callex one at birth and go up a year at new year so when Jk says he wad 15 he was actually 13. In fact he was training for 2 years and was 15 when the group debuted, born sept '97, debut june 2013. Actually Vlive is not used by BTS any more, they made their own channel called Weverse.

The Rice Squad's video explains more about BTS, as a group, although it does go into some detail about each member as well. I actually like when reactors do both of these intro videos and XCeleste's as well. They all give some information that the others don't. The Rise of Bangtan series is beyond exceptional; I do wonder where the team would have ended if they had been able to continue. But it is an exceptional series.

She decided to take her series down when Big Hit Music announced their latest docuseries which unlike their previous ones, felt the most retrospective of them all as it covered their debut period all the way to their latest. Not unlike the Rise of Bangtan. Luckily someone managed to download and then reupload the whole lot on a new channel called the same.

They all have matching friendship tattoos of the number 7. But Jungkook and Jimin have the most tattoos, Jungkook has a full sleeve and Jimin has 5 moon phases down his spine, the number 13 on his wrist, youth behind his ear, nevermind on his ribcage (he loved the message of sugas song "nevermind" so much that he got it tattooed), and he has young and forever on the back of his elbows inspired by their song young forever.

Vlive is their forum for reaching out to army. Individually. Entire group. They will usually do one right after a concert. On birthdays. When they’re bored…. It’s very personal. The footage where jHope was scared by the bug or whatever was part of a show they do called In The Soop which is camping together. They also have Bon Voyage. A collection of shows taped during vacations and travel. But my favorite is RUN BTS. There are a ton of these variety shows they created. Funny. Adorable. It’s what made me feel like family. Look at the Pool Debate or dubbing Disney movies. I also loved the soccer game they played on soap suds. And Flying Yoga is hilarious. RUN BTS variety shows are awesome.

To add to your comment about how many lives have been saved. My own was saved by BTS. I had a plan in motion and ready to end my life after dealing with Post Partum Depression, and BTS randomly auto played on youtube, it was Boy With Luv, and I fell down the rabbit hole one day , about a week before my plan. I ended up listening to Agust D's The Last and I called my doctor that same day and got help. That was 5 years ago!

Vlive merged with Weverse on December 31, 2022, so on its own it no longer exists and the bit with J Hope running from the bug was In the Soop(soop means forest/woods in Korean) there are two series with BTS and Tae did one with his friends the Wooga Squad which is on Disney + they are the guys he made the TV series Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth drama with they are all staycations because of the pandemic they could no longer do the series Bon Voyage were the guys vacationed at different places there are 4 series of that

It took about 2years to put them together, selecting by different ways many young talented guys, making like a game of Tetris, who fits in, maybe this one , it that one... Throughout 2011- 2012 , they got to be the final 7 and got to work to debut in june 2013

They were trainees since 2010 with the exception of Jimin in 2012 and all seven debuted in 2013. They been living together in a dorm until 2022. They all got their own place before serving the military.

A few points: They created variety shows: Run BTS because they were either not inivted by mainstream media or mocked/belittled during their guestings. They shot BTS In the Soop and Bon Voyage (vacations/staycations) to share with ARMY their experiences. And Vlive is non existent anymore-It is now called Weverse Live where BTS always do their lives to celebrate their birthdays, post concert and special events with ARMYs. Jungkook is the youngest of the group and he always says that his brothers raised him so much so that his personality is the combination of each mebers's personalities. JK is the main vocalist of the group. JK is so talented and well rounded that RM nicknamed him Golden Maknae (golden youngest). That is why he chose to name his solo album Golden. JK is my ultimate bias obviously lol. The reason I became an ARMY is because of their personalities and their strong bond for each other-this drew me closer to them. There is also an Introduction to BTS and ARMY from Xceleste which is also a good source of information and another fan made documentary series for BTS called The Rise of Bangtan (so good). Finally, J Hope said once that it might sound corny but he believes they were fated to meet and become a group and I do believe that this 7 young men has been chosen to make a difference in this world. The best gift of being ARMY is that the love is never one sided. As you will come to know, anything BTS do/say/sing is all for ARMY as a way of showing us their love and appreciation in return.

On Weverse they do live's with us however not now they are doing their military service. They are not allowed to work but they have prepared lots of things for us that they are able to release while serving because it was done before they entered their 18month's of military service so it's the reason we got the Song from V 'Friends' because he recorded it before he started his military service same with Suga (aka Agust D) we will get to see his finale concert and behind the scene's at the cinema April 10 and 13th also we get to have J Hope latest solo album also in April which were all recorded well before they entered their military service. BTS members are so extra hard working preparing content for us before while preparing to do their military service. I don't know if other Kpop artist's have done that but I somehow doubt it depending on what their agencies allow them to do.

Hi! Thank you for the reaction! V was hidden because they didn't want him to be stolen by another agency because he was so talented. He is also so cute and they added him to the last promotional posters to attract fans. He's now been ranked as the Most Handsome Man in the World since 2017, the Idol of Idols, the King of K-Pop, etc. H is the fashion Ambassador for Celine and Cartier, increasing their sales and stock by 30-40%. Jungkook came as a trainee when he was 13 but the group debuted when he was 15. They were all shockingly young when they entered training. They came to train at different times and were placed in BTS if they seemed like a good fit.

'In The Soop' is def my fave. Next to their Variety Show 'Run BTS'. Ps. Here's a bit of 'Tea' for Baby Army. Before Taylor Marie's Guide came out. Was a running joke amongst BTS.....in which Jung Kook (aka Kookie) himself attested to: Before he even got to know all his BTS members. During his 'Training period' 'Or if he even wanted.. to join' this strange group of older guys. Being the youngest. Was so shy...would wait til they ALL fell asleep before taking a shower in their one bathroom. However....(this particular night) RM was in there. Once he strolled out casually in his boxer briefs...towel around his neck? Kookie TOOK ONE LOOK AT RM'S POWERFUL THIGHS AND WAS IN AWE (according to him) 😂😂....and THAT - IS WHY HE JOINED BTS.
