You sir are a legend! I've spent over 2-3 hours trying different ways to move some large files from laptop to iPad. Google Drive, Google Photos etc. kept freezing and lagging. Wire transfer kept timing out and having issues. iTunes wasn't working for me either. Finally came across your video while super frustrated and annoyed. Hey man great video! I have made it work but I run into a little issue. You see, I placed the folder I wanted to share on my Desktop. I followed the whole procedure and managed to access it from my ipad but I can access my whole desktop as well. At 4:03 you are showing 2 folders, a folder named Users and a folder named Video. If I access this Users folder I can then proceed into accessing my whole Desktop and other files/folder as well. Any ideas on how to access my specific folder only?

Thank you so much for this tutorial one thing I need to mention in case anyone else had a little trouble and didn't work for them with workplace wifi I was connected to workplace wifi and at the last step, it says FAILED so what I did was: I went through all the steps as the video, if It didn't work: open your mobile hotspot at your computer and make your iPhone/ iPad connected to your windows laptop (( This is gonna be the same Network for both devices )) 2) save your local network IP ( of your device) not the wifi you're connected to ( from network & internet setting) 3) now connect to the server through your iPhone/ iPad and it's gonna work

I was able to set up sharing and I was able to access, from my iPhone, the shared folder on my PC. When the file I wanted came up on the iPhone, I selected it and chose the Share icon then Save to Files then On My iPhone the Save. The file I copied is a ringtone. How do I find it on the iPhone? Can I access it to make it a ringtone? The file has the extension m4r. Again, thank you for an excellent tutorial video. 2 thumbs up!!!

Hello, thanks for this video. But is there a way to transfer folders? The share option is disabled and hence i used the copy option and pasted it under "On My iPhone". I had pictures and videos from my old android device segregated into folders for easier access (since the app "move to ios" moved all the pictures and videos under one album and i had a tough time finding a particular picture). After using the copy paste option, i am not able to view any picture or video. It all appears as icons. Could you please help me?

Hi. AirServer is a private app unrelated to the video. He used the app to screen record his iPad to show to the audience (us). This method truly doesn't require any third party app. Whatever he did in the AirServer window, just do irl on your iPhone or iPad.
