The internal is surprisingly good! I use it all the time, but since my videos have a mix of in studio and outside footage, the difference becomes really noticeable

Hi - thanks for the comment. Yes I agree if mixing videos then changing mics is a problem. I have the same with indoor/outdoor videos whatever the mic involved.

How do you sync the video with audio please?

Instamic is my recommended solution for a reasonable good quality / low noise, high dynamic range, extremly small rugged an waterproof solution for almost recording tasks. Magnetic, velcro, gopro mount solutions available.

Good topic. I live in Manila so I have a Zoom F3 coming in via a friend arriving from the U.S. External mic is the way to go. I really wanted to thank you for your other videos too. My wife was overwhelmed by her DJ Pocket 2. I went through your videos. I asked some questions. I bought some gear. I brought her up to speed and made it easier for a woman who wa 5'1" to shoot videos and she has been loving her camera again after 6 months in a box.

I hope insta360 go 4 will support bluetooth mic like dji mic 2.

Hi - Yes if the Go 4 had a bluetooth mic option that would be really amazing. I'd love that!

Very interesting topic ! Having a TASCAM DR-10L is always a good solution, as the wireless mikes may have interferences depending on the location you're recording the video. Consider also to buy the DR-10L as 2nd hand, there are many available at a very reasonable price, as people moved to the DR-10L Pro ! In 95% of the situations, the DR-10L will do a great job. I do use the LARK M1, the DJI V1, the DR-10L & DR-10L Pro, and of course, also the Media Mod for the GoPro series 9-12. Thanks for the video !

Hi there! Welcome back great to hear from you - yes I think I like using an external recorder in particular the DR-10L. I also got the DR-10L 2nd hand off Ebay for about £70 or so - I'm also tempted to get a Zoom F2 for backup. I also have the same mics - Lark M1, Lark Max, DJI Mic V1 + 2 and the Media Mod. I think I have too many mics!

Hi yes I think some wireless mic is the best audio option for this camera, or a lav and audio recorder

When they integrate bluetooth connectivity to an external microphone, I'll get one...maybe. Not seeing a whole lot of advantage over the Insta 360 x4 to be honest. I guess price is a bit of an advantage, but you lose a lot of features like as I previously mentioned, wireless connection to an external microphone.

Hi - yes no bluetooth in the Go3 unfortunately. Maybe the Go4 will have bluetooth connectivity, that would be cool. The major selling point of the Go3 is the tiny size compared to X4, but the X4 has much richer functionality. They serve different purposes and use cases I think. Thanks for watching!
