Getting the same one installed in my Audi S4 in a few days. I finally won't have to deal with CD's anymore. My S4 is a 2006 so it didn't have bluetooth capabilities built in. It does have a nice Bose system in it with two 8" woofers and the clarity of the mids/highs sounds great but the old 6 disc CD changer needed an upgrade! I'm also thinking a reverse camera added to this setup will be a nice upgrade for my car as well.

First, props to Beach Audiosound, in Huntington Beach, CA! This is a staple in Car Audio 5 stars!...I used their services way back in the late 80s for my first aftermarket car audio, kid you not! They installed the first pull-out Sony car audio on my brother's car...with a set of Rockford Fossgate 15" woofers! Second, I upgraded my Trucks Pioneer CD head unit to the W4660NEX and it is a fantastic radio...chock full of features! Pioneer hits it out of the park with this stereo and great review!!

I just dropped the money to get one, sadly I'm not installing it myself due too I want all it's features & sure I'm good enough to wire it up, I just want it done right so I have to wait for my appointment to have it installed! Can't wait for it to get here & really can't wait for it to be installed! Please note, it's getting installed into a 2001 ford ranger so it is going to be a huge upgrade from that factory radio, more power, plus a whole ton of new features!

I plan on getting this model, the main reason is the wireless android auto. I have a 2012 F150 and just want something better than the factory no screen unit. IMO the sound quality isn't bad but it would be great if it was better.

You can buy the adapter harness and you can still use your steering wheel controls

You have to have a separate SiriusXM antenna installed, or an adapter to your car's existing antenna, but yes it is ready for SiriusXM

ground the green wire. Either splice it with the negative wire, or just tape it to any unpainted metal in the car

@@skiboot1 i taped mine to the bottom of my headunit and its been fine for 2 years. Connecting the wire to metal is the same as grounding it

@@cyan123 I have an antenna installed but if you have alexa and a SiriusXm account you can hear SiriusXm thru the Echos without needing an antenna. My Echo dots and show can play music from SiriusXm. All I need to do is ask Alexa for example to play Escape from SiriusXm.

I have this radio and cannot tell you how much I HATE IT! Wired CarPlay is fine, WIRELESS Apple CarPlay on it sucks balls 🏀 🏀! Many other annoying little bugs, but I can kind of deal with it, but the wireless CarPlay not working really pisses me off. The head until shows I have a Bluetooth and WiFi connection to it, but it won’t launch CarPlay wirelessly no matter how many times and ways I try. I have a coworker with the same radio in his car and he has the exact same problems I have. I emailed pioneer a week or two ago and got no reply at all, so do yourself a favor and buy another brand.

I just got this radio today and don't understand how it works and how to work it. I bought it from Best Buy and had them put it in. He wasn't very knowledgeable about telling me how to work it from my Samsung Note 10 + he has an Apple phone. Can you please help me to understand this radio? I'm ready to return it. Also, for some reason it won't let me update it either.... Please Help me to watch KZbin videos and to work the system all together.

This head unit is complete garbage for Apple wireless CarPlay. Wired is fine, wireless is crap! Never connects! I didn’t spend the extra money for wireless just to have to plug it in all the time. So there you go, an honest review. Fix this junk Pioneer or I’m going back to Kenwood.

Couldn't wait to get this unit for the Hi-res capability. I like to play Hi-res files through USB with a flash drive. Flac, Hi-res flac and DSD, none of which were usable on the two units I've had, both 4660's. The USB was a cheap, flimsy ass C port connection that failed to work (at all). The Pioneer service techs are useless. They're not techs. They look up your questions in a data base. Will never buy another Pioneer product.
