@@benja_mint She's really helped me! Definitely do!! When i booked in, she had a form section to disclose any injuries. Depending on the nature of your finger injuries, you might still be able to get a sesh with her now??

@@benja_mint I had two in person sessions. She watched me climb some auto-belays and gave me a physical assessment. Based on those she gave me a workout plan and training plan (including technique drills). I can send her videos of me climbing for her to analyse too. The second sesh was a check-up on how that was going.

This is a comment solely based on seeing you climbing through your (great!) youtube videos, but it seems like you're going through a big climbing transformation. Giving the impression that you're struggling "more" than previously with some blocs between V5 - V7, which I would understand noting that you have been training with a variety of monster climbers with different climbing styles. I remember this plateau very well and some of the powerless feeling alongside but I have a feeling you'll very soon be breaking through the V6/ V7 plateau and you'll start mind blowing us even more! Thank you for sharing your journey with those amazing climbers, love your videos 💪

I’ve been stuck with my climbing grade a little recently - a few injuries and a switch in time commitments meant I have been focussing much more on content and theory as opposed to actually climbing. Hoping to rebalance this over the winter for sure and hopefully start pushing myself again!

I wanna thank you again Hannah, for making a youtube-channel, reaching out to everyone with knowledge and perspectives. I have subscribed to your channel, and I have made a note in my calendar to look more at your channel. Videos can be paused and watched again, whenever and from everywhere. As a master student in business & economics I believe it would be better for the future if university lectures also is video based. Physical lectures doesn't fit equally good with peoples life; diseases/diagnosis, children, jobs etc. Not geographical limiting people from studying. Thanks Hannah,

There are two different ways to climb it, the one these guys are doing is around V4, there is another that cuts out most of the smaller blocks on the left and top which is V6 - You can jam but the blocks are super rough so would need gloves

The "no brain climbing" is such an issue for me. I don't FEEL scared of heights, but my brain certainly knows im 3m up and im getting gassed so suddenly I'm not thinking at all and im squeezing the bejeezus out of the bolds. Its so hard to get new ideas when you keep getting stuck in that position

Having been to Parthian Southampton recently, I don't think videos give a real sense of how difficult the boulders are, I had one look at the blue blocks and thought no f***ing way😂

this straight arm drill makes sense on overhanging-terrain because you can twist and climb side-on. But what is the vertical-terrain variation if you want to climb front-on? I always try and drop my body to keep my arms straight but that pushes my hips away from the wall. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Beginner here and I’ve really tried to work on my technique using straight arms the last two time I’ve climbed and found while it’s using less pulling muscles and saving energy there, my fingers and forearms burn out faster. So I end up not being able to finish some climbers I could finish before with worse technique. Is this normal?

I find it difficult to pick up on this technique, when be starts climbing the blocks it looks to me like she’s heavily using her arms too. They look slightly straighter at times. I think this is why I struggle to pick it up

I remember watching Hannah and Be training at White Spider. Be has this knack of saying one thing that completely unlocks a crux in seconds. Watching Hannah crush stupidly hard lead routes was almost comedy. The disadvantage she has was completely negated by her superpowers, which, as a mere mortal, I think is unfair.

I need to spend more time climbing like this, every session for me looks like yoga, then a solid warm up, then limit climbing for 4-5 hours. At this point I feel like really taking my time and gaining better technique would massively improve my climbing. Thanks for the dope video!
