In this 'pro coaches amateur' video, join me for another coaching masterclass with Climbing Coach Be Baldwin-Fuller. Be and I headed to Parthian Southampton for a session on their competition wall, and I took the opportunity to pick Be's brains on best climbing technique and movement tips. If you're a total beginner, or you've been climbing for years, Be can help you apply her theories to climb more efficiently.

This is a comment solely based on seeing you climbing through your (great!) youtube videos, but it seems like you're going through a big climbing transformation. Giving the impression that you're struggling "more" than previously with some blocs between V5 - V7, which I would understand noting that you have been training with a variety of monster climbers with different climbing styles. I remember this plateau very well and some of the powerless feeling alongside but I have a feeling you'll very soon be breaking through the V6/ V7 plateau and you'll start mind blowing us even more! Thank you for sharing your journey with those amazing climbers, love your videos 💪

I'm new to climbing but isn't she supposed to use only single-color pieces or is she using the others around only to train the pyramid technique? Like she is using yellow, blue and black instead of only blue? Otherwise good job, and thanks for the videos I have learned a lot from them :)

I remember watching Hannah and Be training at White Spider. Be has this knack of saying one thing that completely unlocks a crux in seconds. Watching Hannah crush stupidly hard lead routes was almost comedy. The disadvantage she has was completely negated by her superpowers, which, as a mere mortal, I think is unfair.
