Hi mate the quick spray units are good but I’ve use them here in Australia an found that the remote dose not like to be dropped or Bouncing around in the tool box my suggestion would be to put remote in a sponge life proof case an the aerial was to small upgrade to a bigger one or an extension to make it higher as u head over a hill out of range it don’t work an spear battery’s for remote is a must cheers

Great job Alistair how long does a sprayed area stay clear of gorse sprayed gorse with roundup two years later back thicker than ever

About 3 years. Getting stock to eat the regrowth is critical but not damaging the soil. Gorse seed can last at least 90 years in the soil.

Hey Alistair what chemical do you use on the gorse. Back in early 70s we used 245-T which is now banned

We have found Tordon Brushkiller to be very good. It's 100 g/L picloram, 8 g/L aminopyralid, 300g/L triclopyr.
