So far so good! No hicups today whatsoever - I was afraid of glitches / droputs etc. since I am experiencing that with the RME but no! Rock solid so far

I currently use the DA of the gen 1 X6 and the convert ad+ for mastering i wonder how much of a difference the new DA on the gen 2 is

you could of buy the x6 if you would not even use the preamps on the x8!! The x6 has the same digital i/o features as the x8. Nice video

I’m here to document my journey not to conform to some ideas you have. RME was rock solid on windows and I’ve enjoyed it. Lately it was acting up and I dislike that. Apollo fits my needs much better

I am coming from RME so I don’t know how good the Gen 1 are but usually if something work you don’t need to upgrade. My goal is to have a chat with someone at UA and ask exaclty what was improved on the HW side so I can report back 🙏🏻

It is but having issues with RME lately ( since moving to macOS ). For me, moving to the Gen 2 Apollo feels like an upgrade - but stay with me for the journey. I’ll have plenty of videos on why I made the switch and the entire journey.
