I miss old solutions.... It was just enough to plug in MP3 player and drag all the files to the device... It was so Simple and beautiful.

You can. If plugging into a computer isn't recognized, unplug and check Settings>System>USB mode> MTP/Media Transfer, and plug back into PC. Works with music bee too

I remember when I bought Apple MP3 player where you had to use iTunes to transfer music.... This is crazy complicated. Huge pain in the ass...

It is. A PC should recognize the watch as storage. If not, unplug watch, check settings>system> USB mode>MTP/media transfer, plug back in. Can use File Explorer or a music organizer like Music Bee. Disclaimer: just got mine yesterday, so Idk if this wasn't available in the watch debut

i have just bought a Garmin forerunner 45 - I am trying to put music on it from my PC. i have installed Garmin Express and updated ass software on the watch. When I connect to device on PC there is no music button to click on. All advice online say click on music button to select music but there is no music button on the home screen of Garmin Express.

Hi! I just noticed some of my songs aren't transferring, it will say 15 songs in playlist in garmin express but then i only have 11 on my watch do you know what may cause that? Thanks for the vids! its nice to have playlists now for runs.

I followed this tutorial exactly. Thank you. But, when garmin express transfers my files to the watch, a disproportionate amount of songs transfer over....this is very disappointing. I could have 30 songs on a playlist, and after the transfer, maybe half are there on the watch. And all my songs are playable on windows media, so the files shouldn't be a problem. I wouldnt have bought the watch if I knew this.

Try putting the venu in MTP/media transfer mode in system settings. Needs to be disconnected from PC to see the setting Worked with music bee yesterday, so this should work in any other music organizer

Is there a way to see each song in a playlist- using Amazon Music? I have a Venu 2- not Fenix/. I can only seem to see my playlist but when I click on it, there is not list- just the first song starts playing. Do I really have to hit next >| to see the next song. This makes it very hard to get to song #30...when you are running at 7mph! There has to be an easier way- anyone? If I used Spotify music app instead, could I then see each song on a scrollable list?

Really good audio in this video. On the Mac I didn't like the process as the Garmin app wants to connect to itunes and you can't customize what's going on and then it inevitably crashes every single time with transferring. I had to use Android File Transfer to just drag and drop the files I wanted. Sadly I'm stuck with this "unknown" folder from the failed itunes sync and AFT can't delete it.

No, that is currently not possible.
