Today we are working on upper arm and shoulder mobility as we work towards Pincha Mayurasana--forearm stand. To do this stability must be in place and well established.
This posture is an inversion and a beginning backbend. It will help you prepare to see from a different perspective. Continue to practice using alternative legs to kick up with. Over time it becomes easier and easier as your body and brain begin to understand the actions.
If you have any shoulder impingement, go slowly, working on opening preparations to warm up at your own pace.
