2019 F250 with 47000 miles and I’m 4 months out of 5 yr warranty. The dealer here in Louisville Ky wants $4800 to repair upper oil pan leak. I’ve experienced the death wobble once too. Thought the whole truck was going to break apart at 60 mph. It was fkd up. POS truck. I’ve bought 2 brand new ford trucks and there won’t be a 3rd

I noticed some weepage on my 2019 too. I used a can of brake cleaner about 10K miles ago to make it all go away so I can start watching it. Haven’t looked at it since and I have 19500 miles on her now. Just ordered my oil, Filter & Duel Filters today on Amazon, so when all that comes in I’m gonna take a good look to see how it’s going.

Fine job catching it under warranty! Had an upper oil pan leak myself, at 140,000 miles, so no warranty. Cost me $1700.

@@MotorHead18 If the previous owner was watching it better, they probably would’ve seen it seeping a long time ago. And would’ve been under warranty. By the time I bought it at over 100,000 it was leaking pretty good. Leaving oil spots on my driveway.

If it leaks again and it's not covered under warranty you can put on a newer oil pan which those come with a press fit gasket rather than silicone

I had my upper oil pan replaced at 33,000 miles under warranty and deleted as well. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Had mine looked at by dealership today. 2018 under warranty. My upper oil pan looks exactly like yours but the mechanic told me Ford will not cover that fix under warranty unless there is liquid oil physically dripping down.

I put out another video on something you may need to hear. I talked with a mechanic and he mentioned the way warranty and service departments operate is with how much you complain. Honestly, the more fight you have the quicker they will obligate warranty service to you. Go try another dealership though

@@carsonfairbanks519 all good bro, I know my vids get boring hahaha. But for real, the mechanics still get paid to do warranty work. The smaller service departments may be better to deal with.

My 2019 f250 has the same problem and has less than 50,000 miles, will the warranty cover it?

Yes it will

Just a little note to tell you that extending your CCV reroute hose that long WILL cause excessive crankcase pressure. For example, try blowing thru a 3 foot hose, now blow thru a 13 foot hose going up, down, and around corners. There is a difference, and Fords 6.7 have a recommendation of NOT exceeding 0.3 psi in the crankcase. If you exceed that then you will be prone to oil pan gaskets, valve cover gaskets, both main seals, and possibly turbo issues. Gaskets are not designed to keep gasses from blowing them out, they only keep oil (which is thicker) in.
