Upper Peninsula ROOFTOP TENT Camping Solo with My Dog | Michigan Keweenaw Peninsula

Atlas dog and I (Brett) journey into Michigan's Upper Peninsula to the Keweenaw Peninsula near Copper Harbor to find one of the most remote locations I've ever found. Along the way we come across ruins of old copper mines which was very cool! Join us while we camp in our truck rooftop tent, relax and eat campfire food on the edge of Lake Superior.

Awesome man I can’t wait to see it when it’s finished! I use the app “onX Hunt” to find my locations. You do have to pay, but it shows you who owns every piece of land in the country so you always know you’re on public lands 👍

The Keweenaw Peninsula is one of my favorite places. High rock is so worth the drive out to, you are lucky you were alone out there. It’s gotten quite popular from what I hear.

Luckily it was middle of fall and only saw one person who fun enough came up to me and chatted my head off for an hour while grilling my hotdogs and I forgot about them that’s why they’re so burnt hahaha. But yes it’s beautiful up there but nervous about the summer crowd…

I definitely like your focus on that awesome scenery! Great use of the cooking tripod and lantern. Hope you return to more narration . I think that was a strong point on previous videos.
