I am at a point in my life where I check everyday for new Tom Delgado uploads, my wife and I impersonate him and our weekend is now made because we can watch his latest work. Yeah, that's how we roll in the mid-west at middle age! =) So...Chill Out

15:42 Phil: *"You owe me nothing"* Tone sounds not happy, fed-up with hearing about not going along. What does Tom mean by "us" previous to that? Are Tom and Phil friends/video team/couple/partners/married? If not, why would you 'feel bad' on Phil not being able to go along assuming he is being paid to be the 🎥 assistant and Tom is on a limited production budget? Phil has his own career. Give him the respect for his camera work. It's not easy given the speed Tom walks, especially with new running shoes. 😃 Asked the question because it detracts somewhat with the tour to hear a spat, arguement, developing in the video.

Hi, big fan from Seattle area, your tours are great! I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, how neat to see the temple right there. I didn't realize it was so close to Lincoln Center. Thought I'd throw out, that NY temple took two years to build, and was dedicated in June, 2004. It's not as fancy as some temples, like the one in Salt Lake, but is beautiful on the inside and also, soundproof. Best wishes, looking forward to many more tours!!

NYC has SO MANY Amazingly original buildings They’re so awesome. I love it , I love em. Really do. I appreciate the amazing detail that was put into the work from back in the days. Now the newer cities like Vegas & Phoenix they have all nice new stuff but it’s all just that plain cheap manufacturing that’s thrown together the same way with a quickness. So few original architectures now days that have their own beautiful details and now it’s the materials that are used is the main issue that makes it all look the same Just a bunch of wood & stucco. Brick building are amazing. I love em. When I lived in South Carolina I loved all the brick houses that are there. Being from Vegas I hardly ever saw a brick house growing up. Idk all the different names for all the different types of architecture or the eras they stand for But I do know when I see a beautiful structure . Anything in the world with Originality always stands out and atop the rest with the best . ( psychotic is not original. JS. ) NYC is so amazing , the history in the architecture alone is just …. FUGETABOUDIT Too many non original psychos in the streets though. But I still Love NYC. Everywhere I go I’m always ready to get back Home to Vegas Everywhere but Southern California or NYC. When I’m in SoCal by the beaches I do not want to leave. Obviously I do not mean L.A. , that place sucks. But I LOVE it on the opposite ends of America there in SD to NYC Minus their politics. Which the politicians always ruin everything anyways.

Loved this one! I've been wanting you to do a UWS video for ages 😊 IDK what was cooler: the general history, the lovely old buildings, the violin lady or the Sugar Bar. I remember Ashford & Simpson's hit "Solid" from the 80s, but didn't know/had forgotten that they wrote "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "I'm Every Woman". Very cool! Cheers from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺

Lots of 1970s movie locations at 72nd St. They showed the 72nd St.Station in Death Wish (beginning) and, as you mentioned, in the Warriors. Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) lived at 33 Riverside Drive in Death Wish (where Jeff Goldblum's character and two other gang members assaulted his wife and daughter. Toward the Hudson from 72nd is where the murder of Roseann Quinn (depicted in the 1977 movie, Looking for Mr. Goodbar) took place.

Hello tom, thanks for another great video, I got my information walk in for the day :-). Keep up the good work man. Also I thought of an interesting video call me you should do a video on how to get around New York if you're in a wheelchair :-) I know it's a very specialized market but it would be interesting. I've had to figure out all sorts of interesting ways to get around Seattle; like entering one building on Pike Street going up too far and getting out just to end up on the street level with the market. I'm sure New York is the same way for anyone in a wheelchair lots of secret inside knowledge. Anyway it's just a thought.
