I don't want to change my phone twice in day time. And I'm not a camera guy. I hardly take photos by my phone. And if you are talking about lens, that doesn't need the greatest camera in the world.

@@reshad.h it's about the software experience the fact that u don't have to buy another phone to get last year's update , and always directly from Google , and that's big for security in my book , the Titan chip is great because I do my banking from my phone so that's an a plus , plus I watch a lot of youtube so loud speakers a must , also it's how the phones animations work so good even the heptic feed back makes a difference when typing unless u use one , since it's all software experience u won't understand the pixel line , they are not going for top specs , but instead optimize the software very well remember Google is a software company and the phone is just a conduit , that Google call screening a must that Google duplex is another win and awesome to see where it's going the AI in the future , Samsung are great phones , but I hate curved displays sucks for tempered glass, to protect investment, I will never say nothing bad about software I'm a Verizon store manager I've had Samsung Galaxy my whole life until I experience the software on pixel 1 then 2 and now 3 I can never have another phone that does not feel the same the fluidness awesome , the camera amazing, the always first updates and unlimited Google photos a must have and then All the AI features are great as well plus I squeeze pic at least 6 to 10 times a day I use the Google assistant daily Everytime I need an answer I squeeze ask and boom super quick 1 hand too

I swear Google changed something with the brightness slider in Android pie. After the up date I can't use my phone outside without it being at 100% and even using like 50% inside is sometimes too dark and it's super annoying.

Am I the only one that doesn't think 4.5 hours screen on time is short? I suppose compared to other 2018 phones it's a bit underwhelming, which is kinda disappointing, but I don't think I've ever gotten near that number on any phone I've owned. Hell, my 3 y/o Nexus 6P is at 84% after only 12 mins of screen on time, lol

Yeah no offense, but 4.5 total hours of SOT is awful, esp in this day and age. I think what killed his Pixel 3XL battery in this video was that he had the screen at max brightness for a while, and I'm guessing he left GPS on after he left his car. I just got a Pixel XL (original) a month ago, and I'm averaging 8 hrs SOT running Pie with Nova as my launcher. It hit a "personal best" of 10 hours the other day ! Granted that was an atypical day (no LTE except for a phone call, no camera use nor GPS or Bluetooth). But so far I'm thrilled that a 2016 phone can consistently get such good battery life running current software. It's really sold me on the benefits of stock Android. I don't think I *ever* got 9-10 hrs SOT on my Samsung Note 5; even 7-8 was not typical, certainly not as it started to age. Average now is 4-6 hrs SOT if I'm lucky; that's why I bought the Pixel. Sounds like you may need a new phone too, amigo. 😁

Oh, I definitely know I need a new phone (my 3 XL is suppose to arrive tomorrow). But idk, I guess considering my 6P has never really gotten me much more than 2 hours SOT (even when brand new), 4.5 hours seems perfectly fine and like it'll easily get me through a day. The idea of a multi-day phone isn't really important to me since I can just top it off every night anyway. It's also important to remember that all of this varies depending on how you use your phone ... a phone that is a 3 hours SOT phone for one person may be 6 hours SOT for someone else. It sounds like you use your phone in a way that doesn't use up much extra power, that's not reality for everyone. Not to mention I've never heard of anyone getting 8-10 hours SOT on any phone (even friends with the Note 9 say they're maxing out at like 6.5 on a good day and usually are more around 5).

@@J.0.E. User experience and software is arguably right up there with the Pixel if not better. OnePlus phones don't slow down at all. Meanwhile there's been numerous complaints of that happening with the Pixel 2. They're equal with customer service too, both require you to ship your device out for repair if you want it repaired by them. Google's customer service sucks too, they literally read straight from a script. Both pale in comparison to Apple's service, but at least One plus isn't charging Apple esque prices like Google is. And the only thing I've noticed the pixel is better at is portrait mode. Regular photos look just as good in almost every circumstance, and OP6 doesn't exhibit black crush like the pixel does. Google isn't doing enough to justify their high prices.

Google has 24/7 customer service through the phone, you can even message them from your phone or have them call you. Plus google will send you a device before you send yours. 0:52 I can definitely hear the audio issues with the mic. It sounds kind of bad and needs work. 2:58 UPS probably hates you for having so many packages piled up like that. That's like a mega-expensive liability for them. 3:55 RIP bee. LOL 400% zoom is impressive. _Top Shot_ is impressive. That _Screen Calling_ is definitely useful against these annoying telemarketers and scammers. 11:29 Bubble tea after ramen is perfection. The brightness is due to Android P i think. My Oneplus 6 used to be perfectly visible at 1/4 brightness with Android O but now I have to put it on 3/4 to get the same amount of brightness. Also, awesome video dude!

You know. I accept the notch because of the functionality of it. I came with a pretty good deal for this phone and I love it so much. The notch isn't a probem for me in matter of fact I like my icons being display at the very top edge of the screen. It's really an amazing phone. I'm blown away , I never had the chance to have a phone of this quality

All top shot is doing is pre-recording a frame every couple seconds before you snap the photo. It’s much different than Live Photos with iPhones. iPhones have had this feature already but it seemed to really go unnoticed. I only say this because people truly don’t know how to use their software. Either way the Pixel 3 camera is still insane.

Dude the amount of time you used your phone is unrealistic for a functioning person throughout the day. Others got stuff to do and are occupied, they ain't gonna be on the phone consecutive hours. But good review bro

You can't knock it too much for the battery in this example though because you are using it far more than you would in a normal daily routine. Every phone I have ever used typically gets bad battery life the first few days just because I am using it so much, like during setting it up, trying out the camera a bunch, watching videos, showing people what it can do, etc... all the same stuff you are doing here. After the first week or so when my usage is more normal, I've never had any phone not level out to last at least a full day (100% at 7am and down to about 25% at 10PM). Everyones usage is different though so that is another variable. Some people may get 10 hours and others could get 36 hours from the same device, it all depends on personal usage.
