So useful. Thinking of some thinner material, like a tough poly board from Grainger, to leave permanently under my washer & dryer (the countertop leaves almost no clearance to the top of the appliances). Thank you for this great video.

I didn't hear that part clearly, what did you say what kind of board that was, or what material that board was again? Thank you.

Hi. Thanks for the great advice. How thick is the board that you're using in the video and is the material Melamine or Lauan?

Great Thanks! Ron, where did you get your floors? I bought a house with those exact floors and I do not know what they are or where to buy more>

Looks like Brazilian Cherry. Many companies offer engineered versions: real wood top layer with a soft wood base, using an interlocking edge.

Great video. I just moved into a house where the flipper slid the refrigerator over the floor and there are two parallel lines across the entire room. Any advice on how to clean/fix/repair? Ty.

Call a flooring contractor, I hope you got a discount on your home from the flipper.

Will this work on carpet?

How do you turn? The video showed square panels being used to pull a refrigerator in a straight line.
@ronaldcall4 жыл бұрын
Very carefully, spin the appliance on the first board then roll to the next.

How thick should the melamine boards be, only thing I see at lowes is 3/4" which is very thick? It looks like its only a 1/4" thick. Is that melamine or lauan plywood in the video?
@keenanmidgley608 Жыл бұрын
1/8th thick, so the appliance can get up and down easily

Can I leave the boards under the refrigerator?

Sure, but why?

This is genius. Why don’t appliance delivery guys use this method? Would’ve saved my floors…

Why don't you use blanket ? much easier !
@ronaldcall4 жыл бұрын
Blanket will prevent scratches, but it won't prevent the wheels from a heavy refrigerator from compressing the wood and forming permanent grooves in the wood.
