That's an awesome mill. Perfect in that situation, set the mill up around the fallen log no matter the orientation. You guys got it figured out.

Yah, Lucas mills are really good for being able to set up in tight areas... If you pay attention in this video we had to notch the stump in order to get the mill set up, we had to make room for the legs, because moving the butt log simply wasn't an option because it weighed about 10K pounds!!!

Sacramento area now. From Klamath Falls. You drove right by me. Great log and Sawyers. Drop me off a cookie sometime, I'll bring the milk. 50-50. Thanks for the show.

I'm looking to get set up for slabbing big logs that won't fit my bandmill. I own a tree business and have some monster logs saved up. Just wondering if I should use an Alaska mill with 2 huskavana 3120's on a double ended bar or one of these slabbing mills. Do you know which one would go through big logs faster? Are you happy with the Lucas mill or would you recommend something different? Thanks

We are very happy with our Lucas mills! as for a double powerhead alaskan mill, that my friend is a young mans sport and not something I would do at this point in my life, our Lucas mills serve me pretty well...
