Hey Heidi, these creative homeowners put up the fabulous sheer curtains to please themselves, not some currently fictional homeowner. Decorating is not about saving lives, but having fun. You two just took the fun right out of this show.

..it is often challenging to make an equity of form and function in relation to materials.... and how each are situated... various pastel organic type colours are in at the moment... howevers just be aware that that shall not for eternity.... some bold colours will rather tenaciosly reemerge into a frame.... or perhaps.... a profile whauaahaa

The garage house was shoddy and ugly. It was by far the worst. Poor design, poor craftsmanship, and cheap material. The church was at least liveable and elegant.

I used to love Vern on other home decorating shows, but in this particular one, I am cringing. There are a lot of lovely people with brilliant ideas in that room who did what made them happy. I feel that Vern's criticism is too severe and over-reaching. This group saved properties and made them into beautiful abodes. If you have cabinets that stretch to the ceiling, whatever is stored there is suddenly extremely difficult to get to.
