This drone got me in to the hobby, and I could not have done it without this video, thanks!

I’ve seen at least 10 reviews of this whoop. Yours is the best and most complete.

Nicely done review. You hit on many points many reviewers simply pass up. Ordered one up today. BNF w/3x batts/spare frame for 100 bones seems dang good compared to the dji mavic's ive been buying lolThanks again

Thank you. I try to do something different than the other reviewers out there. It helps that I'm a smaller channel and I have sufficient time with a product before I make my review video. Please check out this video. It covers a reciever issue on all the crazybee boards with the built in reciever on the spi buss kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppvdq3eemZ2Ze6M

if you got it from Banggood order replacement motors. I hate the wait (5 weeks) but you probably will need them. This is a wicked fun drone for indoors. Mine lasted about 3 weeks before i lost a motor. i didn't catch it at first thinking it was the FC so I ordered replacement parts. I found one of my motor shafts would just spin (broken motor). Tip they also come in CW and CCW which I missed on my first order sucks (10 Weeks wait). I run about 8 or so packs a day more if I have the time so I really do enjoy this quad.

Could you just reverse the motor in blheli suit or are the directional for cooling?
@kerjs026 жыл бұрын
@@TweetFPV You know for some reason i didn't think of that. I could also switch two wires. Thank you especially today because I just crashed into the dog's drinking bowl I may have ruined my quad. I could get lucky with no damage well see when it dries off.

It is a great little model, but with the change in tech I would recommend the emax tinyhawk if you have the extra cash for it. It is better then the Ur65 in almost every way!

Great great video. I have too little experience with this, i bought this UR65 (drone) + Jumper T8SG (transmiter) + Aomway (fpv googles) but i have some difficulty configuring and understanding most of the technical terms.. what is acro and such.. 😒
@TweetFPV6 жыл бұрын
It sounds like you have a great setup that will carry you into this hobby for some time. Acro: no auto level, does not use any accelerometer inputs. So basically if you point the quads nose down 10 degrees it will stay there when you center the sticks if you want to return to level you must pull back 10 degrees. This is also sometimes referred to as rate mode. Angle mode: slef levels when the stick are returned to center. Must have the accelerometers enabled. You can not do flips in this mode. It is locked at a max angle of your choosing in the betaflight firmware Horison mode: a lot like angle mode but has the ability to flip. In general I don't recommend this mode as the threshold where it is self leveling and when it will allow a flip is kinda unpredictable. Air mode: this is just a setting that keeps the Motors from loosing thier authority when the throttle is at 0. I highly recommend that air mode is used at all times or at least when in acro mode. Let me know if that is confusing in any way or if there are any other terms that you would like explained. Happy flying!

@@TweetFPV after a few months, i finally took this stuff out of the box again.. i forgot how to set things up now though, but i had sucess, started to fly again. I used all my six 1S batteries now :). I remember i had to select quite a few options in this transmitter that got me confused in the past, but since i had success binding the drone with the transmitter i started flying right away. But i always knew there were a few things i should configure better. The way i have this now, this UR65 is very very fast turning, etc. I do not have any stability like i see you guys flying around. I am better flying now, but anyways... Is there a place where we can talk better or even skype a few minutes? I don't want to take your time though..

Great video, very thorough! Just got my UR65 and Tranis QX7 and followed your instructions to set it up! :) Only problem I have is although I can see the throttle seemingly setup and working fine on the QX7 and beta flight but nothing happens to the UR65 when I push the throttle up :( :( the motors spin only when I push the throttle both sideways. Any tip please?
@TweetFPV6 жыл бұрын
In betaflight under the reciever tab do the stick movement corospons to the correct stick movement?
@TweetFPV6 жыл бұрын
And are you flying mode 1 or 2? Throttle on the left or right?
@prestonbrown6 жыл бұрын
initially, I would remove / change the other modes for various switches you may or may not have set up. that are in there by default besides Arm, they are probably messing with you. I had the same issue. Be aware this will default you to acro mode.

Great video! I'm looking at picking up one of these. Curious if you would go with your props spinning out? Do you notice any difference?

Due to the ducted design I don't think there would be any noticeable difference.

can I leave the batteries on the charger for hours? or do I have to watch them and remove them as soon as they’re charged?
@TweetFPV4 жыл бұрын
You should monitor them but once they are done charging they are fine to leave on the charger.

Idk, Possibly but if the price is right the ur isn't a bad choice and I have no interest in a 2s micro drone.

More power isn't always better. I have a smaller house and it's cold where I live half the year, I'll always prefer a 1s brushless 65mm for indoor use.
