The U.S. economy can actually get better if only the govt can start making better decisions for the sake of it's citizens, cos' they've really made life more difficult for its residents. Hyperinflation has left the less haves bearing the brunt of the burden. Its already eating into my entire $620k retirement portfolio. Like where else can we invest our money with less risks?

Just get a financial planner straight up! personally, I would invest in etf and also love investing in individual stocks. yes it’s riskier but I'm comfortable in my financial environment.

I agree. Exactly why I now work with one. A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years back, during the covid-outbreak, I needed a good boost to stay afloat, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m

The economic crisis and downturn are all the signs of 2008 market crash 2.0, so my question is do I still save in the US dollar or is it okay to move all emergency and savings to precious metals?

In light of the ongoing global economic crisis, it is crucial for everyone to prioritize investing in diverse sources of income that are not reliant on the government. This includes exploring opportunities in stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the challenging economic situation, it remains a favorable time to consider these investments. Nevertheless, seeking guidance from an investment planner might be necessary if you desire a more assertive return.

Investing in gold is a reliable choice, and I plan to keep buying more to make up for my losses. While silver is also a good investment, my collectibles are not as similar. It's important to have clear investment goals and educate yourself on the type of investment that interests you. I work with a financial consultant regulated by the SEC, and started small, but eventually accumulated over $800,000.

I will like to ask, How did you achieve it? I been trying to stick with index funds. I feel this new interest rates hikes could crash this economy. I'm looking out for a better investing strategy, I have a lump sum that inflation is steady eating up.

Certainly, there are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Marisa Michelle Litwinsky’’ for about two years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

Unfortunately, not all of us were financially literate early. I was 35 when I finally educated myself and started taking steps. I went from $176,000 in debt with zero savings or retirement to now, 2 years later, fully debt-free and over $1000,000 net worth. I know that doesn't SOUND like a lot, but I'm incredibly proud of it. Now I'm fast-tracking my wealth building (investing $400,000 annually) and don't owe a dime to anyone. It's a good feeling!

The Federal Reserve halted rate hikes, which is a very bold move by the Fed to stimulate economic expansion, ease financial conditions and address inflation concerns with potential benefits for consumers. The major concern for me and I believe every other investor is on opportunities present in the market to enhance overall portfolio performance

Not offering any particular advice, but I can assure you that most stocks still have growth potential. Re-distributing is not as hard as many people think it is. Ordinary investors lack the requisite level of diligence, so having a financial advisor on board is usually highly beneficial. In the market, this is how people generate enormous profits.

I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2008, I was really having investing nightmare prior touching base with a advisor. In a nutshell, i've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.

Let's be very clear about one thing. The "market" has been massively wrong on what the Fed should do with the funds rate for at least 2.5 years now. In early 2022 before the Fed even started hiking, the market was already forecasting rate cuts to happen by end of 2022. The market at the start of 2024 had 7 rate cuts for 2024. Laughable to suggest the Fed is the one that has been getting this wrong. It has proven out that they were right to start hiking in early 2022, aggressively ramp up that funds rate, and then keep it at the terminal rate until now. Also, the Fed on numerous occasions has stated that a recession will likely occur as a result of this hiking cycle. The market consensus has been no or soft landing, which is another thing they will be massively wrong on...........I've been engaged in active trading and managed to grow a nest egg of around 140k to a decent 539k....I'm especially grateful to Adriana Jensen whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape.

Tell me about it. My 401k? Practically useless right now. I’ve got over $500k in there, but with everything going on, I’m wondering if I should just cash out and figure something else out. I’m getting closer to retirement, and the idea of relying on that fund is stressing me out.
