@@bw3230 yes I get and we all get that laws are vastly different in countries especially in communist countries. Also in communist countries things are corrupt especially in their type of "judicial system". Otto Warmbier that was held in North Korea and sent home back to America just to die. The video they "had caught him" taking propaganda poster yet...it never showed a face, the build was a lot heavier and short. There was no evidence. They get no innocent until proven guilty, even then there is a percentage of people wrongly convicted. In such strict laws and breaking them down such as you have, you should well know they're not given a close to a fair trial towards somebody being found "guilty" in these types of places.

Oh yeah NOTHING pls stop and comment something less ignorant it has nothing to do with the generations or the older and younger ppl. I mean, how do you even get that out of this video. Ppl like u comment these things to feel some sort of superiority compared to others because you feel like you’re actually doing something or helping the cause by commenting. We’ve all viewed it just like you. Wish his physical and mental health, always being proud at what a survivor he is. Through the rest of his life, he has confirmation he has the strength to get through anything. Never forget that. Life has trauma. I got my diagnosis at 42 I lost our baby, my husband, my mother and my best friend in under 18 months. I found my husband's body after a horrific fatal accident as I recovered from almost losing my life as our baby was stillborn. The brain tries to protect, but is limited and body can't process some of those worst traumas. It is more rare to escape PTSD in a life, and most who do just do because they passed young.

Listen, for perspective, you’re still more in danger every single time you get in a car or probably cross the road than having anything happen to you abroad because you’re American. And “abroad” is too broad, so to speak. Lots of the world you really don’t need to worry at all. Pockets where this sort of thing happens.. usually if you’re very wealthy or some other kind of known or prominent person, which most of us are not…. & we ALWAYS hear about it- so it inflates your feelings of likelihood. Did you know 3,000 people a year in the US die from aspirin?? Something like 19,000 deaths by an accident in a bath (not drownings). But he was a prominent military, & Russia was considered an enemy state a lot longer back than 2019. I knew more than a decade ago if I went to Moscow I would be checking my hotel room for cameras. So he should’ve been more cautious. I honestly feel his Russian girlfriend might have been a targeted set up. We already know of known spies- Russia likes to use honeypots- that infiltrated NRA & right wing conservative circles. These are years working for these connections.

She wasn't importing drugs! Found in her possession was two vials containing 0.252 grams (0.0088890384 ounces) and 0.45 grams (0.01587328 ounces) of hash oil, for her personal use. And she pled guilty not because it was her intention to smuggle drugs, but because she made a mistake and recognizes that ignorance is no excuse. But I agree with you in that people need to respect the laws of foreign countries when travelling, especially in countries hostile to one's own, because you will be treated much more harshly and will undoubtedly face trumped-up charges for political purposes.
