Hii, I've a question, I don't know at all artistic swimming I just love watching it and I question myself about how they do to be so synchronise with the music underwater, do they hear the music underwater too or that it's just hours of training ? It's maybe a stupid question haha, btw i'm from France my English isn't perfect Thanks:))

Sound travels faster underwater than in the open air. Even then, they can probably go off the vibrations from the speakers.

Wow and to think they were actually removing wrestling from Olympics...This thing should be on Britain's Got Talent not Olympics. But whichever "sport" serves the purpose of western countries is allowed into Olympics.

Jayant I’ll have you know both of those sports are extremely difficult in there own way the reason synchro is in the olympics is because it is extremely hard as while you are holding your breath you are trying to complete movements that use every muscle in your body and have to repeat this for over 3 minutes you also have to be extremely flexible and train at least 8 hours a day to get every movement in time

I knew it. No American like this has won gold from the duets and the team event since 1984 and 1992 in Los Angeles, California and Barcelona, Spain including Atlanta, Georgia. Could this be impossible to beat the Russians since they won 10 times better than everyone else in this competition? The Russians in this event are always cheating for winning 10 gold medals and now they're going to win 2 more in Tokyo.
@sean5137
@sean5137 4 жыл бұрын
where's your evidence for the Russians cheating in this event? If they cheated, they wouldn't have competed lmao
@normanchen6510
@normanchen6510 4 жыл бұрын
@Sean They had good skills and better synchronizing swim since their first gold medal in Sydney, Australia over 19 years ago. Somehow it all happened back in Salt Lake City 17 years ago and this is what led up to this doping scandal since it happened back from the Soviet era until now before Tokyo 2020. On the other hand, that's when that caused some to lose their medals on what the other Russian teams in other Olympic events besides this event.
@sean5137
@sean5137 4 жыл бұрын
@@normanchen6510 of course they developed better skills! the Russians are known for their highly intensive training regimes, and they simply trained harder and smarter than the other nations to be on top. Artistic Swimming as a discipline is always evolving and one you can't really ever cheat into being better at, and it's not a fact of doping that keeps them ahead but just that every other nation is one step behind in technique, height and control. You can't attribute doping to their rapid evolution to stay at the top of the game. You also can't claim they have doped in the first place without having solid evidence - what you're saying is merely speculation.
