What I noticed with USA and UK politics is that USA is ultimately divided into two cultures: (1) previously a "non-free" state, and (2) an off-shoot of new york city. Whereas with UK politics, they're united by the undeniable fact that they're British. Like, it doesn't matter if one party is conservative or socialist. At the end of the day, they love tea and seeing the sun for 10 days a year.

TBH as someone from neither country I love the British way. When they're arguing it's harder to do sth harmful (for the country), and if they stop, it means they've got some kind of a compromise - and IMO democracy should work based on compromise. The only issue arises when they all agree to screw over the society, but oh well, you can't completely stop politicians from doing that, I guess 🙃 Oh, and in such a heated debate there's a slight chance they'll be more honest by accident. And, last but not least, it looks way more fun!
