Man you gatta imagine her view here. She was already kind curious if everyone was real, but then Rei and Minako started their usual affair which makes Usagi kinda convinced that this might be real. It wasn't until Chibiusa and Mamo (basically her future family) appear that she burst to tears and believing this is real.... Until it was not.

Wow, it's these scenes where you start to cry. Usagi felt very lonely thinking that everyone had died. Suddenly everyone appears (mainly Mamoru and Chibiusa) and she cries with happiness. But it was all an illusion.

oh how sad this is. she is going through a difficult time but then her love ones come back to tell her it's over and she believes them for a sec. then she looks up and they are gone realizing what's going on :(

Ironically, Sailor Uranus and Neptune were pretending that they were under Galaxia's control, and because of this dream, Sailor Moon asked them if this was an act and if it was all part of the plan...

Shame we didn't see Chibiusa appeared in this season it would of been awesome to see her return with the Amazon Quatret as sailor soldiers to fight Galaxia, that would of been an interesting fight, along side with Helios from a not so distant future.

according to the manga Chibiusa was somehow still there fighting along side everyone till near the end along with her future sailor guardians. don't ask how the author of sailor moon really didn't have much logic or understanding on how tricky time travel actually is but it was the 90's when he did this so not like anyone cared even though most should have seen back to the future or that british time traveler who uses a british telephone pole as a time machine where people see time travel is not such a simple thing to mess with in fiction.

+Freddy Gutierrez. Mamoru was still alive in Stars. That's how Chibusa was able to travel back in time. She disappeared as soon as Mamoru was killed.

I still don't accept it where Usagi gives wounded Luna, Artemis and Diana to her mom and suddenly she meets hem again (assumingly) brainwashed just to be killed by Lethe. Did Lethe even visit Earth just to kidnap those three?!

@@ryuumajin, it is also implied that Lethe killed Usagi's family upon collecting the cats, as Chibiusa couldn't find them or anyone else when she returned. Keep in mind that they do not exist in the 30th Century, nor were they present at Usagi's wedding years later after the events in Sailor Stars. Sadly, Naru, Umino, and other civilians who were important to the Senshi also seemingly perished. I hope Crystal does this tragedy justice as a confirmation.

I love this episode because Toru Furuya and Kae Araki came back after a long time. Especially Chibi Usa since she wasn’t supposed to come back anyway and won’t after this episode so It was nice that she came for this « false dream » scene.

I wish that Toei let her stay a little bit longer since Hotaru came back and she could have spent time with her since is Sailor Moon S The Outers were preventing her from seeing Hotaru. Yes the thing with Time Travel is tricky, yet Toei could have done with Sailor Stars like what was done in The Cell Saga in DBZ or since Mamoru comes back to life, it doesn't affect Chibi Usa.

Yeah, the proportions in season five get kinda wired.but due to the way it's directed and animated, I usually can't tell. Besides it's a minor thing, in my opinion.

Yeah, it's Naoko Takeuchi's artstyle. Also, 90s anime characters tend to have long slim boxy figures. It was just the trend back then.

Depends on who's responsible for this epi. I found this epi's art director also did a few other epis in season 5 only. Not too bad. But some other art directors such as Ikuko Itoh (my fav), Hisashi Kagawa and Mari Tominaga have beautiful styles and responsible for some epis in season 4 but not any more in season 5. Personally, I like the drawing of season 4 more.
