Breaks my heart watching her limp off of the floor. 2020 is so far away, I wish she'd take the time her body needs to recover.

I LOVE THIS ROUTINE!!!!!!!!! She needs more time off and more strength training and she could still be top 3 in the US

I really love this routine for Ragan and I love that the crowd was really cheering her on tonight, knowing that she was struggling with an injury.
@LoBytes6 жыл бұрын
Either she’s really affected by the USA not having regular camps and lost her confidence, or she’s over her head and refuses to believe that her pain is hurting her career. Even in the past, her worst still got her on the team... not this year. Still my favorite regardless.

I think it’s the camps and lack of her competing this year. The camps are good and hopefully next year God willing they will have them again. Our juniors need it

It's 100% injury. She has torn ligaments that she didn't get surgery on despite the doctors recommending it and three broken toes, and has talked about how she is in constant pain because he leg is always bruised and swollen. It's been almost 10 months since that injury. That's bad. Confidence isn't going to fix this. If anything performing badly through injury is what will bring her confidence down.
@azzurraghezzo56596 жыл бұрын
I really hope she will do the surgery. I'm worried that if she doesn't decide quickly, she will have so much pain and complications just before the Olympics. I'm wondering if she will be able to go through the Olympics if she's already in so much pain. Please Ragan, and everyone who is beside her... Do the right choice! I hope the best for Ragan ❤️

Even with the fall I feel like she looked so much more powerful, stronger, and confident than Friday night- on all events for that matter. Yes she still had lots of errors but it reminds me of Riley in 2017 while she was battling injuries and look at her now. I truly believe with more time to heal she’ll come back as the force we knew in 2019. I’m rooting for her recovery and cannot wait to watch

Guys just remember she grew a lot from the 2017 worlds so right now she’ll be a little off since he center of gravity changed so by next year she’ll get back her tumbling and as for her ankle let’s just pray that she has no more injuries because I do love her gymnastics and I think she deserves to be performing on the international stage

Question - a lot of people keep mentioning her injury and the need for a surgery. Why is she allowed to compete if she isn’t fully healed?
@hazelnutspred33485 жыл бұрын
Because her coach is making her compete... Either that, or they were just gonna finish out the year and heal up in 2019
@omrianhussain47046 жыл бұрын
If she had taken the year off she could of came back better like Riley and would of been abolle to compete now even if she does the surgery after the selection camp and possibly worlds she might not be able to be strong enough to make Tokyo
@Andrew-pf5fj6 жыл бұрын
That triple was SCARY. Are they trying to injure her ankle further by throwing the same passes she did last year when she's clearly not 100%?
@tiredxillennial70196 жыл бұрын
Would Tim please stop saying “Ragan would have beaten Morgan had she not been injured”?! And Ragan would never have even been national champion if Simone had not taken time off. Repeatedly saying Morgan only won because Ragan was out is incredibly rude and trivializes Morgan’s win.
@omrianhussain47046 жыл бұрын
What do you mean he's competely right your right about ragan only winning because Simone took time off but in that case Morgan wouldn't even be in the finals so what's your point
@jayenga226 жыл бұрын
maybe it's just me, but the way Tim pronounces things really annoys me sometimes like the way he emphasizes the A on certain words. Examples from the mens broadcast on Saturday when he said gymnAst and MikulAk, for some reason overemphasizing the A.
@br0wnsug3h6 жыл бұрын
Alejandro Flores Tim said Ragan's qualification score was 7 tenths higher than Morgan's winning score (that's with 2 falls also). While he didn't expressly say it out loud, it's heavily implied everyone expected Ragan to win judging by how her season & qualification went. Morgan had a terrible Nationals, and many were surprised she made the team because she lacked consistency. With that said, Morgan was the best that day, thanks to a slew of injuries and falls.
@imissnj26 жыл бұрын
Well, Morgan proved at this competition that her win at Worlds was just the beginning. She placed 2nd out of that whole field, and she was amazing and strong. So people can keep trying to downplay her World gold, but she is showing them she is not to be taken lightly or dismissed.
@maryciaccio79166 жыл бұрын
Alejandro Flores morgan also only won because simone was gone... notice how far behind morgan is now that simone is back? yeah she’s been second at classics and nationals but her scores are so much lower than simone

Looks like her 1 1/2 through to triple isn’t working for her, it’s very inconsistent and shes always short or under rotated. I think she should change her pass or take time to recover.

I feel like her triple twist was not credited at all. Her third pass must have come across as a mere 1 1/2 twist step out. Check out the CoP to see if there's a rule about not completing a twisting element and putting a hand down, I'm not sure but the rest of the routine was flawless, so the deduction must come from there.
@mcwyman79286 жыл бұрын
She underrotated it too I think. They might not have given her the full triple.
