Nah white athletes now run under 10. It was believed to be impossible 10 years ago. As soon as a black kid gets to be 6'3" and has Bo Jacksons quick start, we'll see that record beat. Now sub 9:40 is another story, that might take 50 years. Mathematically speaking it was unthinkable in the 20th century that anyone on any kind of enhancement could go bellow 9:70, mere 8 years into the 21st century he did it more than twice.

Blake's 200m was faster than Bolts before wind adjustment, and he also covered the distance faster after his start (because Bolt's reaction was faster, his overal time was also faster) so it's conceivable that the 200 record could fall (although we've hardly seen an athlete on par with Blake never mind Bolt) Nobody has ever come within a tenth of a second of his 100 time, I think that will stand until the sun explodes. To call the guy a generational talent is an unspeakable understatement - I think we've seen the marathon equivalent in Kelvin Kiptum, but I'm just sorry he never had the chance to put his world record completely out of sight for the next 100 years
