Logan a question I can enter the program my recruiter told me about it if I’m interested and I start searching and there’s a lot of bad reviews for this job from 2015 to 2016 about how frustrating is was and the long hour shift with only one vacation day it’s that still the case today at 2019 can you give me some feedback on the job ? I’m really interested
@loganbooker10845 жыл бұрын
Benjamin sides So to start off I absolutely love my job and life in the Army. I don’t have very many complaints about my job. I think the only difficult part of it was AIT where things can definitely be frustrating due to the amount of information you have to take in. There are certain days where you will have to fly and your day will run long but the maximum work day in the army (during normal work week conditions) is 14 hours. I typically work from 0900 to 1700 with PT at 630. Also you earn a certain amount of leave days every month (I’m not sure how much). If you are thinking of joining the national guard I HIGHLY suggest you do not. I joined the national guard in the beginning and quickly realized that being active duty is much more fulfilling. Overall it may seem intimidating but it will be the best decision of your life( especially for you’re married)
@vaunfestus97684 жыл бұрын
@@Benyo8990 you earn 2.5 days per month of vacation per year last time I checked. And in the military you must be able to adapt to changing needs of Army,like long days and hurry up and wait and lots of tedious BS, but it's worth it if you want a life changing experience.

When you graduate your pretty much qualified just to fly the UAS you were trained on, the only thing applicable that could be used towards a private pilots license would be the FAA ground school test.
@sophiasocal68 Жыл бұрын
They could fly drones for hire or profit if the Army gets them licensed through the FAA under part 107 UAS certification. Without the UAS part 107 remote pilot certificate they could fly drones solely for recreational or hobby purposes on the civilian side.

What’s the average number of people a these operators kill in their career or in a year? This must be one of the few jobs in the army where you can be quite sure to kill. It’s just uncomfortable that the likelihood to kill children and other unarmed civilians is much higher than in ground forces.
@arthurmorgan1394 Жыл бұрын
These drones will probably be used against Iran in the near future, pretty sure they aren't being used in combat that much anymore after leaving Afghanistan.
@lottnio8207 Жыл бұрын
The US does some strikes in Southwest Asia but yes it’s true that there is currently not so much use. But Iran might get their share. Ruskies should definitely be at the business end of these beasts but it’s sensible not to escalate the war beyond helping Ukraine to fight unless absolutely necessary.
