The center button is not power on/off it is pause/play. When plugged into a power source (USB power), and a flash drive or other usb music source is attached, it plays continuously, unless the pause/play button us pushed. The only way to turn power off is to unplug the power input USB power source or externally have a switch to turn it off. This is a good solution for non-USB-supported devices.

I appreciate this video you save me cause I just got a onn large party speaker and i live off ubs drives and I don't know why wouldn't it come with a usb function I was gonna take it back in the morning til I watched ur video I really appreciate this🎉

Installed on my smart HiSense big screen Tv. I had a flash drive that I downloaded all my cds from years ago and plugged into this devise. The tv plays all the cds while displaying the name of album, artist, album photo cover art, and name of song playing. I also added another adapter if I want to keep multiple flash drives plugged in at same time (each flash drive has different types of music Christmas Music albums, Rock, Country, etc. I do this so that when I use Shuffle it does not play Christmas music in July. I also use this in my vehicles that have USB or the auxiliary plugin jack. Thanks for doing this utube video, at first I did not know what the 3 buttons were used for.

I have a Cambrige Soundworks CD 740 which is a like the Bose wave radio and was thinking of buying this for the back aux jac. Yes, it will play ripped mp3's from a CD-R but I want to use a USB thumb drive. There is no usb power like your device, so I'd have to run a 5vv adapter block to the wall or extension cord.

Just got one.put in a thumb drive that already had music on.would only play two things and just kept repeating those two sound bites.put in another drive that had songs on played an album that had 20 songs but wouldn't play anymore.kept hitting advance on this unit but just played same songs.deleted all songs from one of the thumb drives were or ding songs on the thumb drive .will see if this works .will give it a week to give me enough time to get enough material on the drive.I need at least 12 hours of stuff for work

Have you tested any other product? I've seen one of those smaller ones that says it's speaker compatible, but looks just like all the Car only ones, so unsure if I should test it out or just buy this one.
