They do say it’s important to use weights etc in your 40s plus, because we lose muscle as we age. You do well though as you do go on dog walks. I like classes at the gym. Zumba and dance classes are fun and I did spinning last week for the 1st time in years lol 😂. Thanks for sharing as always ❤xxx

Yes exactly that claire , I have two left feet so I don’t think dance based classes are for me I’m concentrating on the couch to 5 k first but defo plan to add classes at some point x have a fab week Cx

Well done Claire i started at the gym i find i have a better weight loss with exercise. I walk a lot 5 days a week 10,000/ 15, 000 steps a day. Also like to do Aqua fit. From one older mum to another ❤

Well done you on being so active I need to track my steps , as I work sitting down some days they are very low ! I’m in week 2 of couch to 5 k so that should help notch them up x have a fab week Cx

Good work Claire. I'm nearly 56, started running in my 30s and still doing it. I'm past the stage of having any desire to run half marathons now but I can knock out 5k no problem.

That’s amazing , I’ve always thought running looks so so good people running look great but when I try I usually just get out of breath and give up which is why I decided on couch to 5 k though i must admit in lock down k completed day 1 🤦🏻♀️ and quit my husband called it couch to bed 😂 I’ll do my first week two run tonight 🙌🏼

Hi Claire, great motivational video thanks.Also doing SW need to lose another stone (total three ) ,it’s really slowed down now.Do lots of walking most days but need to tone up now (weights) .Keep going !

Work on replacing free food with speed food and cut the syns to a minimum if you are after a little boost in the weight loss x I need to start on the weights too 👍🏼

I will ask my sister I haven’t actually downloaded the app yet as I have decided to first focus on couch to 5 k , it is £16 a month so when I get it I want to make sure I’m using it but she swears by it 🙌🏼

Just trying the rice in slow cooker and its still firm after an hour on high? Usually takes 1hr 15 in convection microwave

Mines usually done in an hour and a half on high any longer is mush , guess it depends on the slow cooker 🤷🏻♀️
