Group Policy Editor trick didn't work. Double checked it after reboot, the settings are there (they did save), but even after a few reboots, it wont give me the update.

In my case, on windows 11 home, gpedit didn't work. After doing the registry editor tweaks it worked. After 24H2 downloads and installs, should we undo what we did in gpedit and the registry editor? Please answer 🙏

Thanks. No need to restart computer. Just click apply and check for uptates. Then you can disable the feature again.

I don't know if it matters but I upgrade from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 11 Pro, for free using windows update service and tried getting the 24H2 update as you described but with no success, any other tips you can give, I tried several times, the first time it showed that it was downloading 24H2 but after several minutes it said try again later, now when I check for updates it says your up to date and never shows the option again to download 24H2 anymore.

IN MY CASE My update stuck at windows 11 23H2 ( Repair Version ) cant able to download any update nor able to finish this update..... when i try to download its says some updates are missing and show error..... but if i re-install the os it might help but i will lost all the optimizations setting that i have done to improve the UI speed...

It helped me in getting it offered at least. But while downloading it stops and says my system is not ready for this update. 7800X3D, B650 Motherboard. Enough Users with same hardware were able to download this. And my Search Bar does not show up anymore in the Taskbar, I only se the magnifier, even though I have set it to "search bar" in the settings. So it damaged something here.

Bro, something like this happened to me, windows 11 24h2 update came when I updated, I had to turn off the computer because something came up while the update was being installed, I wanted to turn on the computer again and update it, it stayed at 0%, so I restarted windows update, now it doesn't show the 24h2 update, when I click check for update it says it's up to date and shows version 23, will the 24h2 update come again bro, can you please answer?

Not working for me on W11 Pro. I don’t get the update. I did once a week ago without all this workarounds but it stuck on 9% giving me an error like my disk drives are in wrong layout for UEFI. Strange because all my ssds are GPT. What is layout? Simple or Dynamic as I can tell. Now I don’t even get the update.

I did the Registry Editor method and after it got to 8% downloading it say "This update can't be downloaded and installed because it's not yet ready for your device". I tried 4 times and got the same results.

Never mind, I restarted my pc and check for updates and their was another update besides 24h2 basically saying I had missing files so I downloaded that first than the 24h2 download

Sorry but I wouldn't want to download/use 24H2 even if you pay me for it. Just no way. I stored 23H2 ISO and I also don't plan switching anytime soon. If Microsoft quits updates delivery, that just means I'll use it w/o updates. Or use unofficial one's.
