Buffalo Corporation sells these generators. They also have the best customer service Ive seen. This model generator is very easy to repair and get parts for.

what make is the engine?

The generator is a Honda clone. You can get Honda parts for it. Hell, Honda makes their motors in China now just like Generac and Briggs. Probably from the same factory.

Nice little generator. Put a set of wheels on it and handles to make moving around a lot easier.

I have a similar generator. I mounted it to a dolly that was laying around. Makes a huge difference.

I noticed you didn’t place gaskets after your cleaned and repaired the carburetor. Isn’t that necessary?

We picked up a used sportsman generator for a great deal. The one downside is it needs a little work to get it working. Follow along as I work on getting this thing up and going. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jGTMmHmIeL6hjbc

This was a plugged idle jet together with a partly plugged main jet. Clearing the main jet alone would make it run, but with surging/hunting. To clear the idle jet, poke a very fine wire through it. A bread wrapper wire is probably too big. A strand of copper wire from a lamp cord or a bristle from a wire brush will clear the idle jet. This had nothing to do with the float valve. I didn't see him do much that would have fixed this. I didn't see him poke anything through the jets.

Please don’t forget about generator safety: there’s something that everyone really needs to know about when using generators. Many people have died each year when using generators so please be careful. Generators can be dangerous if not used carefully. This is just a reminder. Not only because carbon monoxide is dangerous, we should also keep our children safe when we’re using portable generators so they don’t get injured by the generator. Thank you

I just receive this exact generator as a gift, but I'm wondering if there's a way to install wheels where those 4 rubber things are that it sits on. Have you come up with anything for your generator?
@JonJoy8 жыл бұрын
M Alimi there's a kit you can buy at tractor supply but it does involve some drilling and rerouting the exhaust.

Mine has a outake fuel line on top that leads into fuel valve. Make sure you're getting fuel their. It could be clogged up in the fuel valve
