Thank you, Monika! Your videos are amazing. I’m really loving your page. It’d be wonderful if you also posted the materials in pdf form. They don’t need to be free as I’m sure people wouldn’t mind paying $5 for them! It’d help so much to have them with you and write on them while watching your videos.

Dziękuję bardzo za tę przydatną lekcję! 🙂 Niektóre z tych przymiotników są dla mnie nowe, na przykład słowa „chudy” i „cienki”. Mam wątpliwość, jaka jest różnica między przymiotnikami „chudy” i „szczupły”? Czy słowo „chudy” jest brzydki? Pozdrawiam serdecznie!

Chudy (po angielsku "thin") może mieć negatywny odcień, gdy opisujemy osoby. Oznacza, że ktoś (za) mało waży. Szczupły (po angielsku "slim") ma bardziej pozytywny/neutralny ton w kontekście opisu osoby. Oznacza, że ktoś ma normalną wagę, bez nadwagi.

@@PolishwithMonika O! To jest dla mnie bardzo ciekawe. Teraz rozumiem lepiej 🙂 Myślę, że przymiotnik „chudy” nie ma takiego negatywnego odcienia w języku hiszpańskim („delgado”). Dziękuję bardzo za miłą odpowiedź!
