That piece of wood was bending as the car was jacked up. You should never jack up on the middle of the sill. Use the jacking point then put the axle stand under the car on a suspension mounting point.

Best Jack point is Subframe is much more stable and Safe.

The arrow on the handle of the oil dipstick should be pointing at 12 o clock (vertically) as to line up with the corresponding arrow on the dipstick cylinder.

how much oil goes into the engine? i cant find it in the description

1.9 tdi on average 4.3 litre. I always put in 4 and then check the dipstick. Then check back in a few days

Nope, doesn’t make a difference. Just make sure same oil eg. 5W30 fully synthetic

It doesn't matter. It makes no odds what order you do it in.

Makes absolutely no difference. Unless you plan to change the oil, run the engine and THEN change the filter, the order is irrelevant.
