That is a great tip to know that there is only one tour company that can take you into that island. And also it’s good to know the weather can be unpredictable there. I hope to get there one day hopefully before an Antarctica cruise.

You know it's going to be a good trip when the views from the airport are that good! Hotel looks amazing too. Good job they kept the boat covered for that bumpy ride! Had no idea about the two different types of penguins there. Interesting to learn about them. Cool to see the views of the town from the sea too, it looks like Iceland or somewhere in Scandinavia

That's so cool that you made it down to Ushuaia to see the penguins. That's such an awesome experience. I brought my kids to the Magellan penguins a little further north in Punta Tombo and it was wild. Although we were there in the summer when things were much warmer. Great tip about which tour group to go with. I'll make sure to remember that.

Haha, I love how different your goals for the trip were :D This was SUCH a great video! I loved the drone shots of the views and wow that hotel... I'd also sit in that glass room! Wayne got his bag searched in Heathrow and we almost missed our flight because of it--so annoying! OMG, we can't wait to try sea bass when we go to Chile! Is there an airline you recommend to us for flying around South America once we are there? Oh, interesting to learn how Tierra del Fuego got its name! Good to know about the one legit penguin tour. That king crab looks so delectable; April is drooling!! 😋

@@TheNearAndAway doing well thanks! No we’re back in Houston. Went to Death Valley and Joshua Tree parks last month which was pretty cool. We have Turkey planned for next summer fingers crossed 🤞🏻
