Thanks for the quick tips videos. I'm linking them to a class I'm teaching. To add another tip, I've noticed that by simply selecting "Plane" instead of using the fly-out options, Inventor will define the appropriate type based on the geometry selected. I think it was also possible in 2013, but not sure. Anyway, it saves a little time and that's always good. -Michael RS

What if you wanted a tapered end with, say, 20-deg angle on the end of the gun barrel in this video (or any other cylinder someone is drawing, for that matter)?

@mrau92me The easiest way to do it is probably to create an angled chamfer and select that edge. If you want a specific profile, maybe something more decorative, you can do a revolve cut around an axis using a sketch of the profile you wish to create. -Nigel
