I still use a 5th gen iPod classic regularly for my cd rips and other music you can't get on streaming services. I would kill for not only a re-release of an iPod but also a classic with bluetooth

I still use my 5th gen iPod classic as well. There are some mod to add bluetooth on it but you ave to be handy. Also, bluetooth will use some energy from the battery.

I disagree, if Mr. jobs would have envisioned this Bluetooth would have been in all iPods that are later than 3rd gen, by that point in time Bluetooth was obviously here to stay. I honestly believe that CrApple missed the boat by not putting bluetooth into the iPod. Had they done this the iPod would have remained current much longer. The iPod touch was a failure imo mostly due to lack of storage but also would be unnecessary if the (now named) iPod Classic had Bluetooth just put the iPod touch larger screen onto the Classic you have the best of both retro and function.......once again just my opinion

To everyone that says Airpods only work in devices with iOS: The airpods is based on Bluetooth earphones, so everyone with Bluetooth can use them.

Seen internal Bluetooth mods for iPod Classics. Don’t need to be charged and just a small hole drilled in case so that the antenna from the BT module gets a decent signal. Way better option...will edit post if I can find a link.

This would also be good for connecting a laptop or desktop that doesn't have Bluetooth as well .

A better option for that would be a simple USB Bluetooth dongle, since you wouldn't have to worry about recharging it. Or, if it's a desktop, then get a PCI-E card that adds it.
