Tammy, that purchase sound at the beginning when you asked how many times in a year you can make a mistake!? ding!😂 I laughed it was perfect timing! But those soaps came out beautiful ❤ so elegant! Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the tip on getting the 50 50 lye to heat up by adding some liquid. Much easier than using a warm water bath. Looks so pretty

Pretty soap, Tammy. Like you, I dislike doing the math for cutting odd soaps. I got an expanding sewing gauge from a fabric store. It's for spacing buttons and buttonholes evenly. I think it cost about $9.00. It unfolds in even increments, so I can just mark the cuts at the tips of the gauge. For me, it doesn't really matter how big the bars are because they are all exactly the same size once I measure them out with the sewing gauge.

I am so glad you found a solution! Your sewing gauge sounds like a great hack! Def going to be looking for one soon - thank you so much for your help! 🤗

I love this video! Very interesting about how to warm up 50:50 lye. Everyday is a school day 😀. I’m on the hunt for a good impression mat here in the UK as your soaps look beautiful 💕

what is the size of your sample loaf mold? and where did you find it?
@WalnutCreekBathBoutique4 ай бұрын
it is a tall and skinny mini mold. I love it for these types of things. I believe it is about 2 inches wide and 2.75" tall, or something like that. I got if from Micas and More - micasandmore.com/product/s-tsmini/
